Ashley's POV:

"I mean..." I stuttered, snapping my fingers nervously. Emily stirred inside the plane, her eyes fluttering open. "Where are we???" she asked, her voice tinged with confusion. "Ok, I'm guessing the mind wipe worked. I HAVE to be more careful now," I thought, cursing myself for my irresponsibility. "I don't know... I've been looking for wood to light a fire," I lied plainly, trying to regain my composure. As I picked up a small bundle of sticks, Emily got up and wandered ahead, her curiosity piqued.

"These plants literally haven't been seen in decades. By the smell and looks of it, it seems like it could cure cancer. I saw this in Ayurveda. I'll have to examine it more and find out. I wonder why they haven't been seen anywhere else for so long," she explained, her voice filled with wonder.

"Don't say it! Don't say it!" I told myself, biting my lip. "Anyway, I'll get some more, you rest," I suggested, trying to divert her attention. She sighed, heading westward. "Oh don't go that way, that alley across is the werewolf district and they aren't very welcoming..." I blurted out, my voice rising in panic. "Werewolf district?! What the-" she exclaimed, but before she could finish her sentence, I leaped towards her and touched my fingers to her forehead, erasing the memory of what I had just said.

"Why'd you jump on me?" she asked, her eyes narrowing in suspicion. "An eagle swept over you and me," I claimed, trying to sound convincing. "Anyway, I think you should go that way. It's a tropical region and it has a huge lake the size of an ocean for the mer-, I mean fish, for the fish," I told her, my voice faltering slightly. "And how do you know that?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "I climbed a tree to search for food earlier," I lied again, hoping she wouldn't press further.

Emily: "Ok, oh by the way, do you remember the tents you told me NOT to pack?"

Ashley: "You bought them, didn't you?!"

Emily: "And also the-"

Ashley: "Andddd everything else I told you not to pack, I KNOW. Now go get wood before it gets dark!"

Emily: "Okay, jeez." She muttered, walking away.

Ashley: "Guess I'll have to work with what Cadence brings me for now," I murmured, starting to form sealing hand signs.

Ashley whispered under her breath: "Fire style Fireball Jutsu!" I blew on the wood, igniting it with a burst of flame.

Ashley- Now, about the food....

*After Aqua comes back*

Aqua- *Panting* I got atleast 50 pieces of wood and 2 buckets filled with water. I'm so hungry and tired and hungry*

Ashley- Yes Aqua I can see...😑 Anyway you know you could've just taken the plastic bottles and bring water in them or just manage with the bottles of water we already have in the plane instead of carrying all that weight in your bag for our vacation AND bring water from the lake...
