Willow launched a bramble of vines forward, they grew and thickened, tightening against each other. As she sent it flying forward, it got thicker the further it went, catching speed, it went flying towards Luna.
She grabbed it, as it was growing out of a deep layer of sand, with her bare two fingers, her index and her thumb, realizing it was stronger than she expected, she held it, accompanied now by her middle finger, barely pulling on it. A light tug or that's what it looked like, her hand barely budged. As we felt the ground slowly rumble, the shaking got serious, as if the ground was about to fall apart, the vine tore right out, with a dust storm's worth of sand coming with it.
We coughed, the sand almost in our eyes. Fire emerged from Luna's hand, setting ablaze the long vine, we moved, trying to corner her, she bent over slightly, slightly winching because of her injury from the climbing course earlier, acting like she was talking to someone three-fourths of her height (Luna is 5'11), and made an 'o' shape with her mouth, she took in a scent of the about-to-rain landscape. ' Come on! I'm doing improv, find my openings!' She said, somewhat frowning. Inhaling, she let out a blow, the 'phoo' sound of her breath barely audible, even to Willow and Shizen with their half wolf hearing. It let out an unconceivable amount of wind, sending them flying.
'What kind of gush of wind was that?!' Atsushi yelled over the sand that seemed like it would never settle, landing on the ground with everyone else, somehow managing to land on his feet. 'Gush!? That was an entire f**king storm!' Aurelia yelled back. 'Guys! Focus! Who's that best at short-range fighting here? And who can use their powers in the most benefitting way to if not to defeat but counter Luna at the least right now!?' Willow began thinking as she finished talking.
They all shot a look over to the other side of the battlefield, then to Cadence, then to her. 'What?' She said as they sighed. 'It's you! You can deal with Luna up close while the others try and decrease her strength!' Shizen shouted over the whirling sand. 'Ok, Aurelia and Haruto, use your water to hit her from a decent distance, Agneya and Atushi, play offence from the very front, Pavana and Aniruddh, work with Agneya and Atsushi to multiply the flames, and push Luna back with your wind gusts together on my cue, and Shizen-' A fierce gush of wind accompanied by fire, interrupted Willow. 'I'm playing defense, but I won't wait forever! And neither will your opponent!' She said, gathering that same blue aura from the mountain climbing race at the sports competition, which was quickly transforming into blue fire. ' How is her fire just getting stronger!?' Atsushi yelled, his eyes widened, part disbelief, part amused frustration. 'And Shizen, back me.' Willow said, finishing her sentence, right before using the ground beneath her to launch herself towards Luna, Shizen following closely behind. Agneya used her flames with the advice she'd got from Luna.
Flashback:
(End of the third day)
"Hey sis! I was wondering if you could help a bit with my flames! Since we have a sparring session coming up.' Agneya said, staring at her palms, sighing. 'What's wrong? Figuring out your element and what it means can be hard, it's not always easy, but it's a part of growing into the extraordinary, magical being you are.' Luna comforted her. 'そうではありません!(It's not like that!) , I love my power! I just want to use it to it's fullest! And I thought you could help with that.' She exclaimed. 'Check it out. You can use it 1 of 2 ways, you can focus it all on 1 point, like your fist, and let it out with a combat move, like so.' Luna explained, summoning a punching bag form thin air. As she lit the fire ablaze her hands, Agneya watched, amazed and a bit scared at the overwhelming power. 'Or you could try a tap and hold technique, think of it this way, if you fill a glass of boiling water to the top, then suddenly shatter the glass, the water would certainly have a, more sudden and powerful impact. Your hand acts like a glass, when you store all your firepower at the very tip, when you release it, it has an eve more powerful impact.' She finished with. 'That's so cool! But how do you know so much about elemental control?' Agneya asked, her eyes dotted with curiosity. 'Well, you see, I've mastered 100% in every element.' Luna said, scratching the back of her head, smiling softly.
