This shook you to the core, a pirate that once held 10 Million berries, is now worth three hundred times over.
Your exclamation didn't result in indifference. The waters beneath your wooden boat began to ripple, shaking you off the article. The waters infront of you formed a towering reflective hill, prompting you to drop the article and step back in utter shock. Horns, pierced through the liquid layer as a heavy heated breath blew across your ears, their figure blocking the blazing sun from view... It was a sea creature... An octopus with an unforgiving stature...
Mmmmmmhhhhhhh...
(water splashes around)
"What the hell?!!!!" (You exclaim)
The creature lifts it's huge tentacle from the watery surface and tosses it in your direction.
You Judge its trajectory, deducing that the large incoming attack would narrowly miss your boat, so you spring into the air, taking in the smooth skin that was close to sending you into the waters. You assumed the boat would remain intact yet a harsh snap and crash echoed into your ears. You plant your feet onto the monster's smooth surface and take in the sight of your shattered boat.
A streak of haki crawled out from your body.
Fear dwindled...
Nothing other than pure annoyance filled your brain.
"My boat..." (You snarl flatly)
The surface of the tentacle you stood on began to writhe and in that instant, you clenched your fist, shifted your foot and jetted up toward the face of the large creature.
Beneath the shaded scenery, in a three second timeframe, the creature detected a bright ball make way to their face.
Your dominant arm a coat of iron black, strewn with bands of dark lightning.
After a half breath, your fist makes contact with the octopus, unleashing a blow that seperated clouds, sound halts before it all blasts out in a chaotic mixture of impact and debris...
You're left in mid-air, absorbing the distant city under the sun-adorned horizon that warms your skin. Beneath your coated fist is the sight of the unconcious creature that once towered over you.
A part of you wanted to be smug, but reaching the city was your top priority.
In an effort to blast your way over, you briefly land on the falling creature and spring over into the sky.
More sights of the sea unfolded, the clouds trickle past your skin as the birds glide foward in a uniform direction.
A harbor entered view in which you spread your limbs to ease your landing.
