🤨 Now... let's have a little look at the title. Spooky library? What's so suspicious about a book haven?
📚 Well, our two main characters, Hafsa and her younger brother Ali, find an old bookshelf at the back of the library.
🚪 Hafsa pulls the book out slightly, revealing a hidden entrance at the side.
🏃🏾♂️ The two go inside, and the entrance door shuts suddenly. There's a steep slope, which makes them slide really fast down to what looks like a basement.
🖐️ Ali feels a cold hand touch his shoulder.

STORY PROMPT:

Here is the beginning of your story:
"We're almost there!" cried Hafsa, walking past the shelves of heavy books.
"Hafsa, I'm tired!" wailed her little brother Ali. "There's nothing interesting in this boring library! What makes you think there's gonna be-"
"Found it!" Hafsa declared, pointing to the deserted bookshelf at the rear of the ancient library, with only a book or two on it, gathering mounds of dust.
Hafsa and Ali edged closer to the bookshelf, and observed it.
"Now what?" Ali huffed.
"Now, we go on an adventure!"
"In a library? Did you hit your head or something, Hafsa?"
She shifted her eyes away from the empty shelf and craned her neck to face her brother.
"No. What makes you say that?"
"Hafsa, this is a library! There's nothing adventurous about it."
"SHHH!!!" hushed a librarian in the back.
"Let's go in," Hafsa whispered, clambering into the dark tunnel.
"I-I'm scared."
"Go home then. I'm going in."
Ali's hands trembled. Begrudgingly, he followed his sister inside.
"How do I always get dragged into these things?" Ali mumbled to himself, annoyed.
Without warning, the secret door shut, and the two children rolled down the slope, and landed on a cold, dark floor.
"Ahhh... oof... I hurt my head." She narrowed her eyes at Ali. "For REAL, this time."
"What is this place?" Ali whispered back.
"What's the point of an adventure if you know exactly where you are?"
"Oookay... you've definitely hit your head. Pretty badly, it seems."
Ali felt a cold hand wrap around his shoulder.
He screamed like a kid.
