(Tommy's P.O.V.)
Me and Arthur had helped Theodore sit down on a bed. Every move he had to make he hissed through gritted teeth. I was suprised how little noise he made after hearing the doctor tell us what he found. He had a fracture in his femur. Although lucky it was a small fracture, it was explained that it was still very painfull. Now while Theo was helped by nurses and the assistent, me and my brothers had a conversation with the doctor. All three of us were curious of Theo's disease. "Is there a reason how he fractured the strongest bone in the human body?" Arthur questioned. The doctor nodded before grabbing a file from his cabinet. He quickly read it before answering Arthur. "Theodore has brittle bone disease. The symptoms very from person to person. In Theo's case he is slightly more towards the severe side" the doctor explained and sat down while putting the file on his desk. "Meaning?" John asked, "meaning the kid breaks his bones easily, especially his legs. A slightly awkward move, someone accidentally kicking him or an imperfection in the floor making him trip" the doctor explained. I nodded and leaned forward to grab the file to take a look. It was his medical records. But my eyes stayed glued to Theo's full name. Arthur noticed my frozen state and leaned over. He also looked suprised and looked from me back to the file. "Is that?" Arthur questioned. To which I slightly nodded and asnwered barely audible "yes, that is his full name".

Right on the top of the medical record stood his name written in bold letters

Theodore Thomas Shelby

Immediatly I stood up to make my way towards Theo. Arriving in the room, I saw that a nurse was trying to put iron on Theo's legs but he refused. Moving his leg everytime, obviously not caring that it hurt.

(Theo's P.O.V.)

Pain shot through my leg as I refused to let the nurse put the leg brace on. "I'm alright. I don't need it" I told nurse Jenny. Although she is now an older woman she still liked to work as a nurse. And she is like a mother figure to me. Ever since I was young and had broken a leg, Jenny was always the one to help out. And she knows that I was against wearing that brace. It's humiliating and degrading in my opinion. "Theo, you need the brace to heal" Jenny told me sternly, "I've healed without it before" I replied annoyed. Jenny rolled her eyes like a mother that has a child who isn't listening to her. "Theo" a voice come through the room. I turned my head to where the voice came from. It was Thomas Shelby. From the look on his face, I knew he had found out that I was his son. "I don't want to talk to you" I told him, "that's fine. But after the nurse put the brace on, you're coming home with me" he ordered me. I scoffed and shook my head "what do you people not understand with the words leave me alone" I snapped at him. Jenny walked away from me and toeard Mr Shelby. I heard them talk amongst themselves. I rolled my eyes and lowered myself down. A growl escaping my lips as pain struck omce again through my body. I put my hands on the ground and began to crawl away from the two. "Theodore" Thomas said trying to stop, "no, dont!" I snapped turning around to face him, "Im not going with you. Im never going to go with you" I told him. "You want to know why? Because you broke your promise. I've waited for years for you, fuck, I searched for you. And when I found you and saw you, I was thrilled. But you only had eyes for that new fucking family of yours" I told him, "Theo-" he began but I cutt him off, "I was 10. Not knowing what I was, except from the fact that I was alone after finding out you just tossed me aside like a burned up cigarette". He was completely silent, never said a word after I had cutt him off. "Now I begg you, please just leave me alone". "If that's what you want" he replied simply before turning around to walk away.
