(Tommy's P.O.V.)
I looked at the two people in front of me. "Thomas Shelby" the woman spoke, "you unrightfully arrested my son" I told her calmly, "anger defeats fear. Good" she responded watching me with gold eyes. "You arrested my son". "Tommy has a reputation to uphold" she said turning tk the man beside her, "a reputation of not being scared of anything" the man said with an irish accent. "So tell me which rebel are you? Aye? I read somewhere you fight amongst yourselves now. The King offers you a peace treaty and you start a war about it. That's funny. Don't you think? A war about peace" I said and they kept completely silent. "So what? Are you for the treaty or against it? Forgive me I get confused". The man loomed at the woman before standing up and grabbed the gun that laid on the table. Before halting beside me. "You're son is one step away from death, Mr Shelby" she told me, "so stop fucking smiling" the man growled from beside me. "Your name is Irene O'Donnell. You have a son at the Cherrywood road school, he has iron on his legs, his name is Sean. He comes last in every race. Poor boy" I said shaking my head, "poor boy if the race was importaint". "Your son has iron on his legs aswell" she snarled back, clearly I struck a nerve. "He may be a cripple. But he refuses to walk with iron on his legs-" before I even could continue the man put the gun against my head "there are other ways to carry out this mission. Please allow me to put a bullet in this scum tinkers head". "No" Irene told him, "he does research on his enemies. That's why he's chosen". "I'm chosen" I began and gave a smug look towards the man before turning my eyes back at Irene. She nodded and the man lowered his gun while I grabbed my cigarettes. "A vacancy has appeared and you are going to fill it" she explained, "chosen by whom?" I questioned. "By me" it was Chester Campbell said walking into the room with two other officers. "And I suggest you take the offer, Mr Shelby, for your son's well being. After all cripples like him won't survive long in there". I watched him with a glare as he basically told me, that my son could seriously get hurt in jail or worse. But for some reason, I also had a feeling that Theodore would be alright. He has a strong character, that one. Campbell watched me before nodding "let's go see him. Maybe it will change your mind more easily". I was grabbed by my arm and janked up by the two officers that stood beside Campbell. I was being dragged through the building back to a car before roughly pushed inside. Although the car ride was quiet, it went by rather quickly. As soon as we arrived, I was, once again, being pulled roughly by the arm by the two officers. Dragged through the hallway, while the inmates screamed all kinds of insanities. Not directed towards me though. More so, towards Campbell and the other officers. I was pulled to a halt. "Coat" the smaller ome out the two officers said, gesturing to my coat wanting me to take it off. I pulled it of and handed it to him. While he checked my pockets, the taller one patted me down. After the two finished I was handed my coat back. "We'll give you the cap back when you return" the tallest said with a cheeky grin. I chuckled at him. After it, I was pushed forward towards what looked like the canteen. Meanwhile, Campbell kept reminding me what horrors laid ahead. How battered and bruised Theo would look like. How someone like him was an easy target. A person that wouldn't be able to fight back. But Campbell has never seen Theo fight before. I don't even think he knows what the kid is capable off. That was confirmed when we arrived in the canteen. There weren't any officers around so the inmates could have there way. And every copper would turn there eyes away even if they where in the canteen, acting as if nothing was happening. But while looking around the canteen, Campbell's face fell at the realisation. It wasn't Theo who had been beaten up. On the contrary, it was everyone else. They where laying on the ground, with black eyes, busted lips and forming bruises on the rest of their bodies. I chuckled as I spotted Theo who was sitting at a table, eating as if the fight had not even happened. He noticed Campbell and glared at him while continueing to eat. It also seemed like he was giving Campbell a dare as if to say "come on then. Give your best shot".
Apart from the blood that was dripping down to his mouth, chin and then onto his clothes from the broken nose. The boy seemed fine none the less. In my opinion, he has looked worse after some fights. But I couldn't remember that he ever looked like he was in pain after being beaten. The only time I had seen him in pain was when he broke his leg. "Seems like he survived your odds, Mr Campbell" I said watching on as Theo continued to eat at the table, like nothing had happened, "even with two broken legs".
