Sealed Away

Chapter 5

The next few days passed by calmly. The trio hung out plenty, mostly in the shop, but sometimes Mei would drag them along to the arcade.

Deep underground though, much more action was happening. The grand self proclaimed Spider queen was trying her very hardest to take control of the city and be its rightful queen, restored to power. She now stood above a trembling scientist, who watched as his experiment failed, once again.

He now began to stumble over his words, excuses and apologies flowing out of his mouth as he turned towards the queen. She let out a scoff of annoyance, irritantace sparking in her eyes. "I will not accept any more delays!" She screeched, her hands at her sides. "I have given you many chance, useless boy," She growled.

Picking up a robotic spider that had been laying down. She turned it on and released it towards him. Syntax now let out a terrified yell, his excuses freezing on his tounge. The spider bot scurried towards its target, now jumping onto Syntax's face. The scientist let out a scream as it's fangs suck into his skin.

The spider queen now watched closely as the venom began to take effect, and Syntax howled in pain as he transitioned from a human a demon. Extra arms or legs, whatever you wanted to call them, now erupted from his back and his skin changed colors. He fell to his knees, hacking up coughing, and after a while it died down, and the spider queen let out a loud laugh that echoed in their hideout. Syntax had become a spider demon, a slave to the spider queens commands.

Unfortunately though, they both seemed to be gaining no progress, and as they wondered what to do, steps could be heard from the back. The Spider queen quickly turned, ready to attack whoever this intruder was, but it was only a girl, with bluish black hair.

"I heard that Your majesty is once again trying to take her rightful place as ruler of this world," She said, her voice soft, yet it had a deadly bite to it, enough to made the Spider queen take a step back. "Huh, youre right, but whatever are you here for?" She now asked, as the other girl placed a hand to her mouth, a laugh escaping. "I believe I have something that will help you, Your majesty," She now took out a tube like glass, a bright blue liquid swishing around in it. The spider queens eyes widened at this new turn of events. " A white bone spirit potion, I haven t seen these in forever," She now crawled towards the girl, looking at her closer. "So, you wanna help me?"

You and Mk were currently sitting in the noddle shop, both on your phones, sharing a bowl of fruit. Mei had gotten you a phone to your surprise and yow now scolded though it aimlessly. The plan for today was to head off to train with Monkey King, and you were going to tag along. Soon heading out, Mk waved goodbye to Pigsy. You were still absorbed in your phone. It wasn't 100% your fault, the celestial realm didn't have any, and it was really interesting. As you and Mk now got closer to the mountain.

When they got there though, they were both surprised. Sun was packing up rather quickly, throwing things around the place. You now dodged a bullet as you avoided a rather large scrap of some sort of metal. "Monkey king? Whats going on!? Where are you going!" Mk cried, now looking at him, only to be piled high with random clutter as the monkey closed his suitcase. "Im off to the celestial realm to meet up with some old friends, now that I got you as a successor," he told him, placing a pair of sunglasses on his eyes and giving him a thumbs up as Mk began to complain. 'Don't worry, you'll do just fine, I just need some time to catch up with some old pals, you know?" He now sent you a glance, as if noticing you were there for the first time. You looked at Mk and Sun, before looking at the eyes Sun was giving you. Something was up, he wasn't going to see any pals, and also you knew he had no friends in the celestial realm. Had he heard about the lady bone demon already?

"Yea Mk! I'm sure we'll all be okay, Sun will come back soon. You now walked up and placed a hand on his shoulder, trying to make him feel better. Monkey King now waved and hopped on his cloud, and in a split second he was gone. You could help feel a bit annoyed at him. How could he just leave Mk like that?
