Sealed Away

Chapter 1

"MKKKKK!!! WAKE UP YOU LAZY GOOD FOR NOTHING!" The yell from downstairs woke the boy up as he jumped out of bed. "Crap, crap, I'm late again!" Scrambling to get dressed he almost threw himself down the stairs. "Sorry, Pigsy! Please don't fire me! I swear I'll work hard today!"

"It's the third time this week! Next time I will fire you and throw you out in the streets!" Pigsy walked out from the kitchen and handed him a bag with noodles. "Now hurry up, I don't want a bad review because of you!" He snapped. Mk nodded quickly and ran out the door. Starting up the delivery truck, he began making his way down the streets.

"Oh! I got training today later with Monkie King!" He remembered suddenly as he took a turn and stopped at a traffic light. He set that thought aside for later and checked his phone again for directions. Finally pulling up to his destination, he knocked on the door, holding up the bag with noodles. "Pigsy's noodles!" He called out.

The door opened to reveal a middle-aged man, and he had a large grin plastered on his face. "Oh! You're that.. Mayor?" Mk realized it was the man who had called himself the mayor and had given them a key able to unlock everything until Red Son had stolen it. "Ah, yes, thank you, thank you!" He took the bag from him and paid, before holding a hand up to Mk. "Just a second Mk, I wanted to give you something else as well. Remember that key I gave you? I heard you lost it, Ahah, no worries about it, hope you had funnnnN," he chuckled, tilting his head. "I have a map that you might find interesting. I found it in the back of my library, ohohoh! " This mayor creeped MK out with his random laughs, but he was interested. "What's it lead to?" Mk asked, placing his phone in his pocket as he looked at the map that the mayor had opened for him. "I heard it leads to some hero that was sealed a while ago by some demon. I also know that you're the monkie kid, right? So why not unseal her and get you to help you and Monkie King?!" He let out a booming laugh once more, the grin still large on his face. "Lookie here, it says you unlock the seal with Monkie King's own staff! You got it easy! Get her to help you defeat any monsters!" The mayor handed the map to Mk, who had stars in his eyes. "You sure I can have it?" He asked, the mayor nodded enthusiastically. "Of course, of course!" He then shut the door in Mk's face, but Mk didn't care anymore. Pigsy's deliveries would have to wait. Well if Mk was being honest, he had already forgotten about them, he got distracted too easily. He was going to unseal this hero.

"Ugh, where does this map lead?" An hour and a half later, Mk found himself in a green forest, stepping over some vines that had attempted to trip multiple times. He had reached a clearing, and looking down at the map he realized he'd reached the spot that was marked with a circle. There was a seal, partially covered with growing grass and flowers, but as Mk stepped closer he could clearly see it. Right in the middle of it, there was a dent, it matched perfectly Mk's staff that he now held in his hand. Was he doing the right thing? The mayor had said it was a hero that had been sealed by a demon. It wasn't the other way around. What would Monkie King do? He would definitely unseal a hero, right? Yup.

Plunging the staff into the perfectly shaped hole, the air crackled with energy as Mk was almost blown back. He gripped the staff as the seal cracked, little by little. A pink mist began to creep out, before the seal shattered, and Mk was blown back this time, rolling on the ground. The mist began to swirl around the middle of the clearing, changing from pink to orange. It finally set aside though, revealing a girl.

Her hair was pinned back, and she wore a silk dress, resembling a kimono, although it looked like it had been altered to suit her tastes. But Mk focused on the staff that she held. Mist leaked from it, falling as if it were a liquid. "Woah!" He quickly got up and stared as the girl turned around.

"Finally! Someone has unsealed me after all these years! Oh, I'm so so grateful. I'm y/n." you introduced yourself, and your staff disappeared in a bundle of coral cherry blossoms, similar to the way Nehzas spear did with lotus petals. They floated into the sky and disappeared.
