Chapter 14 - Where's The Hand Sanitiser?

Hayley's P.O.V.

It's been two weeks and one day since the football game, where Maddison ended up breaking her nose. She walked around school with a white gauze strip over her nose for a week. And for that whole week, Tori was sure to torment Maddison about it.

Then Tori 'accidentally' fell down the stairs, cutting her leg on the fall down.

They're both fine now, but Tori will have to watch her back on this trip, Maddison is evil on every continent on Earth.

I checked my list, then to my suitcase, then back to my list. We leave for Europe tonight at 7, and we have to be at school at 3 as it takes an hour and half to drive to the airport. I looked at the clock on my bed-side table and it read 1pm.

Yes, my bed-side table. My parent noticed my struggle with living in the same room as Hunter, and got the door fixed a few days ago.

I can't believe how much I missed my room. My beautifully clean sanctuary.

I decided I was finished packing and I zipped up the suitcase, and went to see how Hunter was going.

I walked across the hallway to his room and knocked. He didn't respond so I walked in, and found him sitting in-between piles of clothes and junk, giving his suitcase a stare-down.

"What are you doing?" I asked curiously.

"I'm waiting for it to be packed like it does in the movies."

"You know that you have to pack it, right?"

He looked at the suitcase, and then at me with puppy-dog eyes.

"Hayley, please help me." He pleaded.

I sighed as I approached the suitcase on the bed, dodging the mess on the ground.

"Fine. Get the stuff you're bringing. And it better be clean or I'll throw it out the window."

I stared at the borrowed duffel bag, full of horribly-folded clothes and other essentials I just threw in. I had to make a mad dash to the Laundromat to wash my clothes so I could actually bring something clean to Europe.

I turned to look in my wardrobe, to see if I wanted to pack anything else. Hayley had bought me most of the items in my wardrobe.

Wait, scratch that, she bought everything. I hate being dependent, but I suppose without her I would wear plastic bags to school.
