CHAPTER 1 : WELCOME TO NAIROBI

The World would never know how close it was to its end, lucky for us we had the spectre.

Imani closed the door to the first world preventing dangerous creatures from returning to our world and causing destruction and death.

She saved the world by embracing herself, her power, and who she's meant to be closing the door between us and the world beyond for another hundred years until another Spectre is born.

Now her destiny was over but her adventure was just beginning.

" Imani we are home," Her mother called out as Imani woke up and looked and saw she was back home.

" It looks different? " Imani says as her mother and father laugh.

" You go to the village for a while and suddenly where you lived all your life looks different? " Her father asks.

" This trip did you well and you had so much fun. " Imani's mother Amara asked.

" Getting the family's powers and seeing grandma again, " Imani says getting out of the car as her two brothers were excited to be in their home again as they ran in.

" I will give you two privacy to have that talk, " Darius says to Amara as he goes inside the house with the boys.

" Why didn't you tell me about our family? " Imani asks her mother.

" Cause growing up in this world and knowing all it comes with made me scared and I didn't want to save the world but my family and if I hadn't left I wouldn't have met your father.

You and your brothers wouldn't exist, " She says as Imani smiled.

" I don't regret leaving it all, 'cause I have you and you saved the world. " Amara says holding her daughter's face up.

The two shared an embrace.

" I love you and Dad and the boys, " Imani tells her mother.

" Tell me what's the power like? " Amara couldn't help but ask.

" It's like taking a hundred red bulls minus the sugar rush and being connected to all elements of nature. " Imani tells her mother who loved that and it was everything she imagined herself as they went into their home and Imani went straight to her bedroom.

Looking around her room.

Exactly as how she left it how could two weeks feel like a lifetime?

Jumping on her bed and immediately falling asleep and having the same dream she has had since she closed the door to the first world.

" Imani! "

" Imani! " The same screams as Imani had a dream and saw Adasa in that dream and she didn't look like a kind nature spirit but sinister and terrifying.

Imani woke up and it was already morning she got up and took a shower and went to the kitchen to help her mother but found her family all over the place.

" What is happening? " Imani asked cause she was confused.

" We are making a superhero costume for you that's what's happening," Junior tells his older sister as Amara was going online designs on her laptop.

" Yes your brother is helping out alot, reading comics about a superhero is paying." Imani's Father tells her as they were sketching costumes at the dining table.

Imani looked and turned to her older brother who was in the living room.

" What's Treyvon doing? " Imani asks.

" He's making a superhero theme for you cause when you burst on the two, five, four scene he's career will blow up and we can finally retire and live in his basement, " Amara says to Imani as they laugh and the doorbell rings.
