"Valentine?" I hear a deep voice call after me as I swoon through the people in the crowd, covering my tear stained face.

"Valentine!" the voice called after me again and someone finally grabs my shoulder. "Valentine," the guy spoke, breathing heavily.

his face looked familiar, but not too familiar. "who are you?"

"don't you recognize me?" he asks, lifting an eyebrow. "no," my voice fades slowly.

he looks at me, laughter filling my ears. "it's me, Luke Hemmings!" my brain connects his name to my memories. "Oh, Luke!" I smile, bringing him close. "finally we meet again huh," he says cheekily, face turning to a pink hue. "look how much you've grown!" I poke fun of his height and he simply pouts at me.

Luke asked me out when we were like sixteen and I agreed of course, but I had a huge crush on Michael besides that.

Luke grabs my hand and navigates me through the crowd, bringing me to his apartment where his friends and him reside.

"woah," I gasp at the English styled house, not something to Luke's taste. "let me guess, Liz chose this," He nodded and we both sniggered at nothing.

I hear footsteps before I see Calum. "Valentine!" he yells, running towards me. he gave me a bone crushing hug, staring at my hair. my hair has changed over the years, I stopped dyeing it and started leaving it to breathe. now it's just like any girl's hair.

soon enough, the other two boys come running down the stairs. "hi ashton," I smile, giving a small wave. he nodded, proceeding to the some other part of the house.

"Valentine," Michael calls, smirking at me. "Embrace me!" he laughs as I gave him a hug. "Look how much you've grown!" he gasped, and I rolled my eyes.

Luke leads me to the living room and offers me some of Liz's cookies and passed me a box of items. "Here's your old items you always left at my house frequently and when you moved away you totally left them. I packed it in a box and kept them" he smiles, making my heart melt.

"thanks," I say, smiling at the items. I start to rummage through it, looking for my old teddy bear Luke and I used to fight over it. Right enough, it was there.

"Mr Sunglasses!" I laugh in excitement as I hold it up. "I knew you wouldn't get over it," he smirked. "well, you'd always steal him away from me" I snicker, and he just simply gave me a annoyed moan.

"Valentine, teach me how to bake cookies," Calum asks, furrowing his eyebrows while reading his iPad. I laugh and make my way to the kitchen to help the boy who doesn't have any clue on how to make cookies.

:;

"oh my fucking god, I'm so tired," calum says, leaning on the couch. "I didn't know baking was such a tough job." he sighs, along with me.

calum decides to turn on pitch perfect as I keep bugging him to, well it's a nice movie. "eh," he nudges me. "do you still have you teeny weeny crush on Luke?" he chuckles as he whispers.

I give him a look of sarcasm and disbelief. he just laughs it off and I give him a light punch on the shoulder. "yeah," I laugh.

"hey, valentine, do you wanna stay over?" Michael peeks through the door. "yeah but I'll need to head back home to inform my parents and grab my stuff,"

the truth is, I never did really have a crush on michael, it was more of Luke. I didn't know how to say it, it sort of came out of my mouth, I couldn't stop it. Only calum knows about this, and it's been this way for years.

well, if he has still kept his promise not to tell any single soul.
