Not so Forgotten birthday

I think ive been awake for about an hour now I honestly cant get back to sleep you know i may be old now but i still always get excited for my birthday its so exciting getting happy birthday wishes from all my family and friends i love it

Winona stirred a little 'good morning gorgeous' i said to her her eyes peeled open 'morning love' she smiled while stretching 'sleep well?' I asked her stroking her hair

'Yeah think this is the best nights sleep ive gotten in a while' she smiled sitting up a little 'thats good' i said has she forgotten?? I thought to myself 'i feel like im forgetting something' she sighed rubbing her hands on her face 'probably just being silly' she stands up and walks into the bathroom i heard the shower start.

My bedroom door opened harry entered followed by David and lily 'happy birthday shit head' my brother says handing me a gift i smacked his arm 'thanks' i smiled harry flopped on the bed his gifts falling on my lap 'happy birthday jess'
'Jeez harry what on earth did you get me' i laughed 'well you sent me your wish list ages ago so i bought it' he smiled 'thank you harry honestly' i said hugging him

Lily handed me a card some chocolate and a little gift 'its not much but i think you'll like it' she winks at me, i looked at her quizzically then began to unwrap it I opened the box and inside was a gorgeous necklace with a W on it

'W??' I asked 'think a little harder love' harry said. It finally clicked on and a huge smile spread across my face 'thanks lily' i hugged her 'so wheres winona' david asked 'shes in the shower' i said sadly

'You alright?' Harry placed his hand on my shoulder 'yeah she just didn't wish me happy birthday yet, kinda selfish of me' i laughed

The bathroom door opened and winona walked out clothes on with her toothbrush in her mouth 'oh morning guys!' She says happily 'whats with all the presents' she says confused, sitting on the bed 'its jessies birthday' harry says

'Oh thats what i forgot.. happy birthday baby' she smiles going in to hug me, i mover away from her standing up i grabbed my shirt jacket and car keys 'i need to run some errands i'll be back' i said speeding out the room

Harry started chasing after me he grabbed my arm 'harry let go.' I say wriggling my arm trying to get out of his grasp
He just wraps me in a hug. I sunk into him why am i such a sucker for hugs. I thought

'Look just wait a little it is first thing in the morning she might plan something for later' he said while pulling away from me 'okay' i smile he grabbed my hand and took me back to the bedroom i sat back down i looked at my gifts and decided to open a couple of them

I squealed at the last present 'harry oh my god i love you so much!!' I literally dived into him. He smiled 'i know how much you've wanted one so i thought id get it for you' his grin grew when i hugged him tighter

A varsity jacket oh my god!!

I looked to my right at my girlfriend, i grabbed her hand 'you okay?' I asked concerned with the look on her face
'Yeah im good' she gave me a sad smile.

'Right we need to get going if we wanna make it on time' lily says to my brother 'yeah we have dinner reservations' he says looking at his phone 'i'll see you later yeah?' He says standing up from the bed

'Of course' i smiled hugging him 'thank you for the gifts guys I appreciate it' i said pulling away 'hey I'm not gonna forget my baby sisters birthday never' he said side eyeing Winona
'Stop' i whispered 'sorry jess' he said shrugging

The 3 of them walked out after i said my goodbyes i got up putting my gifts away. I quickly got changed into my red dress and my burgundy varsity jacket, i slid on some tights and put my converse on

'I look good bro' i smiled looking at myself. Then everything turned black 'uhh winona..' i said a little scared 'shhh just trust me' she said grabbing my hand leading me somewhere
'Where are we going..' i moved my had to my face to take off the blindfold but she was to quick and grabbed my arm
'You'll have to wait and see' i could practically see her grin

I hear the front door close behind me and she started leading me somewhere outside, then i was veing pushed i side a car? A van god knows what, i felt her strap me in with the seatbelt and we then drove away

We drove for what felt like an hour until we finally stopped she basically dragged me out the car leading me towards another place i,again, hear a door shut behind me and she ripped off my blind fold

'SUPRISE' I practically jumped out of my skin 'fucking hell!' I shouted, i looked around seeing my parents, my brother and practically all of my friends

I looked at my girlfriend 'you did this?' I asked with hopeful eyes 'you really think id forget my girlfriend's birthday come on what kind of person do you take me for' she grinned widely.

I picked her up and spun her around 'i love you so much' i said putting her down. 'I love you too jessie more than you know' she pecked my cheek. I smiled walking into her house which was decorated beautifully,flowers placed on the table,balloons in the corners of the room and a few streamers strewn about

I first greeted my parents having a small chat with them and i then moved over to my friends hugging them all 'i can't believe you all came just for me' i smiled tearing up a little bit

They grinned 'were not gonna miss our girl's birthday of course not' helena says from behind me, I quickly spun around smiling when i saw my best friend 'you stayed!' I said hugging her

'Of course i did, i knew it was your birthday so i booked a longer stay, i was only supposed to be here for that event yesterday and then go' she smiled

I looked around a little more seeing a small dj station and a food station god i love my girlfriend i thought looking around for her she caught my eye in the corner of the room talking to my brother

I quickly walked over to them with a drink in my hand 'bonjour my love' i said kissing her head, she smiled up at me 'hello brother' i said flipping his cap off his head
He glared at me picked up his cap and walked away

I turned around to see winona giggling, i smiled at the sight

I cannot wait to make this woman my wife I thought fiddling with the ring in my pocket
