Adore you/winona ryder

You forgive you forget but you never let it go.

Today was our anniversary. And it was eating me alive not being able to sit with her. Eat with her. Hold her. I wanted her to say that it didnt happen but it did. I want to believe that it wasnt real. But it was.

I lay in bed. Watching the tv david put in here for me but i heard the slam of a door and shouting. I open my bedroom door to see whats going on.

They was arguing. Again.

I sighed knowing what i had to do. I begun to pack my things to leave them in peace. I walk down the stairs and try to sneak past them but i was unsuccessful

'Jess! You okay?' He asks puzzled. 'Are you leaving? Why do you have your bag?' He asks walking over to me.

'Im leaving david, its about time anyways' i smile. I move my bag to the front door and slip my shoes on
'Bye!!' I call out before leaving

I get in my car and drive back to my house. I pull up in the driveway and see no cars. I shrug and walk up to the front door and unlock it.

I shut it behind me and look around. And my face dropped. It was a complete mess. Rubbish all over the living room floor, left over food all over the kitchen. I sigh and begun to clean up the mess my 'wife' had made.

About 4 hours later i had finally finished cleaning. I sat down on the sofa and my head snapped up at the sound of keys jingling in the lock of the door.

It swung open and in she walked. She looked tired, he hair was in a loose bun and she was looking through all of the mail.

She looked up and saw the spotless house, her eyes travelled around the house and landed on me. 'You're back' she says bluntly

'Yeah..im back' i speak lowly fiddling with the rings on my fingers. I was a little nervous to be here but i had to come back

'Why are you back exactly?' She asks, she kicks her shoes off and turns to lock the front door before walking over to stand in front of me crossing her arms

'Well i mean. This is my house, and also I'm pretty sure lily was sick of me being there. So i decided to come home'  i say. 'Problem?' I ask

'No not at all. And thank you for cleaning up' she smiles at me. 'Ive missed you' she says sadly. 'I cant begin to express how sorry i am jessie' she says

'Lets talk about it later..you look tired please for the sake of me get some sleep. Im not going anywhere i promise' i say

She smiled and nods. She turns on her heel and makes her way up to the bedroom to get some well needed rest.

*another time skip cuz im lazy rn*

Later on, Winona finally woke up and came into the living room.

'Hi' she says softly. Sitting next to me on the sofa, not too far away but not too close together.

'Hey' i speak. 'How are you doing?' i ask, i stare at her face, her eye bags were heavy and i could tell she hasn't been sleeping a lot from her red eyes

'Honestly. Not good. I haven't been sleeping, i haven't been eating' she says looking at the floor
'You've been on my mind a lot' she looks up at me

I hum in response.

'You've been on mine as well' i say softly. I continue to stare at the floor. Not wanting to look at her right away.

'Ive had trouble sleeping too' i say.

I look at her. 'Do you think that we was a mistake?' I ask. He eyes suddenly going wide and her eyebrows raising

'Of course not. You're the best thing thats happened to me jess. I dont think that us was a mistake but i think us getting married so quickly was' she says taking my hand

I flinch at the feeling. The same feeling i felt months ago. 'We've nearly broken up almost seven times now.' I say squeezing her hand

'I know. But what couple doesnt argue? If you dont argue with them it doesn't give stability. It doesnt give the relationship communication' she says

'We argue so much winona.' I say 'too much' i look at the floor again 'i dont think that were supposed to argue that much..i dont think its healthy'

She sighs. 'Look. I think we need to start taking things slower. And if were upset we talk to eachother' she says letting go of my hand

I simply nod my head. 'Ive missed you' i whisper

'Ive missed you more' she says making me laugh.
'What??? At least i messaged every morning with a good morning. You never responded' she rolls her eyes

I scoff. A smirk drawing on my face 'oh hush. At least I actually read the messages so i didn't completely ignore you' i say a smile now on my face.

'Okay okay i guess you did read them so brownie points for that' she laughs. 'You could have at least replied with a dot' she shrugs speaking quietly

'Oh shush your donut hole. I read them and thats enough now..' i say trailing my eyes over her
'You look yummy' i say

She looks at me quizzically 'yummy?' She manages to speak out. 'I look yummy right now' she says looking at herself.

'You look good enough to eat ma'am' i say reaching out for her. 'We need to make up for lost time' i say biting my lip

She raises an eyebrow. 'Do we now' she asks moving closer to me 'lost time hm? How long has it really been princess?' She asks

And i melted right there and then. 'Gosh you can keep calling me that and we'll be at it all night' i say grabbing her waist and drawing her impossibly closer 'good luck mrs ryder.' I say before kissing her.
