𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐀 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 sidewalk, ignoring her surroundings just focusing on her destination. she had gotten used to simply looking at the ground when walking around this QZ. she took a few turns before making her way up some stairs to go to the upper level of an apartment. she then knocked on the door of the first apartment and she was met with the friendly face of Sam soon after.
she smiled at him and he backed away, letting her inside. Diana walked into their home and once Henry saw her, he grinned before saying "hey! your early today". Diana nodded her head before setting her bag on their dining room table. "I know, I got off my job today early and I hate just sitting at home so here I am" Diana said while opening up her bag.
"and as promised..." Diana said, pausing to reach in her bag. she then pulled out a tape before continuing "you my friend are gonna hear some good ass music". Henry raised a brow, a smile appearing on his face. she then walked over towards the stereo that way just laying around in Sam and Henry's apartment. she paused, looking at the stereo before saying "well you neglected cleaning this for awhile didn't you?". Henry let out a scoff before tossing a rag over to her then saying "we didn't use it for anything so it was kinda invisible".
Diana used the rag to start wiping the dust off the stereo. she turned to Sam before signing the word 'Music' then pointing towards the stereo. Sam nodded, watching her clean it off. Diana then grabbed the tape before sliding it into the stereo. she quickly turned it down so it wasn't extremely loud. the song started to play, the base startling Henry. Diana smiled a bit at his reaction before saying "Be my baby by the ronettes".
Henry listened to the tune, pulling a chair up for him and the rest of the two. He sat down in his chair, leaning back in it and relaxing into the music. Diana and Sam sat down in the chair that Henry got for them. Sam seemed confused what they were doing. Diana moved her chair closer to Sam before turning the up a bit more. She then gently took Sam's hand and pressed it up against the speakers on the stereo. He felt the vibrations from the song.
Diana then once again signed 'music'. A wide smile appeared on Sam's face as he kept his hand pressed against the speaker. The joy of being able to feel the sound. A sound that wasn't just a thump or a bang. This was sound. And Sam could feel it against his finger tips. Diana turned to Henry before saying "tell him the name of the song... and tell him about music". Henry leaned forward so Sam could see him then signed the name. he then explained music to his brother through sign.
Sam seemed fascinated with it. He then took his hand off the speaker to sign a question to his brother. Henry grinned before sighing. "He wants to know if you can bring us more of this but different" Henry said with a smile. Henry was actually enjoying this. Not only was he enjoying listening to music again but he enjoyed seeing Sam so happy.
