As soon as those last word's came out of Emma's mouth, a sick feeling washed over me. I was sure the colour must've drained from my face and my smile was certainly wiped off my face.
Emma scurried off out of the room, leaving Sasha and Alice exchanging exasperated looks as I struggled to keep my cool.
"I can't believe she's turned up, she really is bat shit crazy." Alice commented, not really making me feel much better.
"Okay, can someone maybe catch me up on what is going on?" I asked.
The girls both sighed.
"Erling ended things with her months ago because she turned crazy, totally obsessive and possessive. She's done this once before, turned up out of the blue hoping she'll get him back. Seriously don't worry, Erling will tell her to do one as soon as he sees her." Sasha explained.
Alice interrupted, turning to face me, "He's going to be so angry she's turned up, especially with you being here."
I felt slightly better after the girls had explained. A physco ex girlfriend is never great to have on the scene but as long as it was definitely over and Erling was going to give her her marching orders, it might all be fine.
Or at least I hoped.

The game ended 0 - 1 to Chelsea. I could see how frustrated Erling was with himself after missing a couple of chances. As horrible as it was to see, I selfishly hoped that Emma hadn't managed to grab him before the game, he would come out and take his anger out on her and she would finally get the hint.
We were waiting with some of the players families when my phone buzzed.
Erling: come to the changing rooms, I'm on my own and I need to see your pretty face to cheer me up.
I smiled to myself before putting my phone back into my pocket and excusing myself from the girls.
I popped to the loo and took a look in the mirror to make sure I looked okay before making my way to the changing rooms.
I was skeptical about just walking into the changing rooms, but told myself surely Erling wouldn't have told me to come in if he wasn't sure no one else would be there.
I wandered in.
What I didn't expect to see was Erling sat on the bench shirtless with Emma straddling him, her face just inches away from his.
I stopped walking any further, frozen in shock. Erling snapped his head up, his mouth opening ever so slightly as he begun to shake his head when he realised what I was seeing.
He grabbed Emma by her arms and pushed her off him. She just about managed to steady herself onto her feet without falling over.
"Scarlet, it's not what it looks like." Erling said, getting up to walk towards me.
I stood there unable to speak or move for what felt like an eternity but was probably actually no longer than 10 seconds.
"What... what is it then?" I asked, moving my glare to Emma who was now staring me up and down, making me feel even more uncomfortable than I already did.
"She just came in and jumped on me!" Erling exclaimed.
I eyed up the slim girl who was a little shorter than me, probably around 5'5.
"Yeah, you definitely had no chance against her..." I trailed off with a sarcastic laugh.
"She took me by surprise!" Erling spoke, frustration clear in his voice.
