Hera's POV:
It was quarter past seven and I couldn't help but think about the previous days events. Ezra seemed so worried for his friends, and I could see the fear in his eyes.

Although I thought Kanan handled it all very well I couldn't help but wonder if Ezra was actually listening or not. What if he was just lying in bed, unable to sleep because he was just too worried about everything. Or what if he's in tears. What if-

"Hon, Ezra will be fine" Kanan said next to me, before turning over in bed to look at me. "You we're talking out loud" he concluded.

"Sorry love. I just can't help but worry about him. He's been off lately"

"I know. But like you said, we have to trust him" Kanan said, just about managing to keep voice calm. He was obviously panicking.

"Okay. Just... let me go and just make sure he's okay" I said before getting up and heading over to Ezra's room, hugging my green dressing gown to my pyjamas.

"Ezra?" I said knocking on the door. No answer. "Ezra? Please open the door. You know Ezra, sometimes people drift apart, whether it's by choice or not, but that doesn't mean we have to loose faith in them. You're strong. And I know you know that they're strong too. They'll be okay. And so will you" I smiled at the door but my smile faded when there was still no answer.

"Ezra?" I said again, getting slightly suspicious.

Slowly I pushed the door open. The sight i front of me shook me to the core. The window was open, and Ezra and his backpack were gone. "KANAN!" I screamed.

Kanan came running in in his dark green pyjamas, practically half asleep, and came crashing into the doorway as he slid around the corner. "What is it?!" He yelled bursting into Ezra's room with a hairbrush pointed out in front of him like a lightsaber.

"Where's Ezra?" Kanan asks, still half asleep.

"He's GONE!! He must've gone with Hondo!" I yell and Kanan's face turns a deep shade of red.

"WHY DID I LET YOU TALK ME INTO TRUSTING HIM?!" He yelled and stormed out the room.

"Where do you think you're going?!" I ask.

He ignores me but I see him enter Zeb's room without knocking.

"KARABAST!!! Don't You Knock?!!" I heard Zeb's voice through the wall.

"Language!" I yell before joining Kanan.

"We're going to look for Ezra. You stay here and look after Sabine" Kanan ordered a drowsy Zeb.

He groaned. "So now I'm babysitting?! It's not like Sabines 17 anymore Kanan. She's an adult. And Ezra always goes galavanting off in the middle of the night, so what's the big deal?"

"He WHAT?!!" Screamed both me and Kanan before Kanan continued.

"You knew about this?!! And You Didn't Tell Us?!!"

"Uh... no?" He answered getting slightly nervous.

"That's It!" Kanan yelled, storming downstairs and I followed in pursuit.

.............. TIME SKIP ...............

If you're reading this then I owe you an explanation. There were several paths in front of me, while this wasn't the one I wanted to take, it's what I had to do. You taught me that Dad. I'm sorry it had to be this way.
I am going to miss you all.
Zeb, you can have your Xbox back.
Mom, I left some fruit in the fridge. I hope it's still your favourite.
I couldn't have wished for a better family. I can't wait to come home.
- Ezra
P.s. Sabine is with me
