It took them days and a few more operations to stabilize you enough to wake you from the artificial coma.
Harry spent all day and night at the hospital and the only reason he wasn't thrown out when visiting hours ended was his incredible charm.. and his deep pockets.
When the hospital realized whose 'fiancée' they were treating, you had immediately been upgraded to a single bed room.
After news of your accident, as well as the 'engagement', had broken to the world, the flowers and presents didn't stop coming.
Harry was grateful for his fans' support, especially since they had cancelled the rest of their tour until further notice. The fans were disappointed, but understood and the boys promised to announce make-up dates as soon as possible.
Harry had kept a little Vlog to keep everyone updated.. just a few seconds on Instagram, but he thought the fans deserved at least that.
He was just about to make his next video when Dr. Schulz came in, smiling. That was the first time, Harry had seen him look this positive.
"Mr. Styles, I got good news. We're ready to wake Ms. (Y/L/N) from her slumber."
Harry sighed in relief and cracked a smile as well. It felt weird after days of frowning and looking sad.
"So should I kiss her or how does this work?" he asked with a wink.
Dr. Schulz laughed. "As magical as that would be, sadly it doesn't work like that."
He took a syringe and a small bottle out of his lab coat pocket. He shot the liquid from the bottle into the IV and turned to Harry.
"Now we gotta wait." when he saw Harry's face fall, he added, "Maybe a kiss is not the worst idea." He winked and then left the room.
Harry sat back down in his chair beside the bed, taking your hand.
"Anytime now, love, anytime." he whispered and with a small grin, he leaned forward and pressed his lips softly to yours.
Two hours later you still hadn't awoken and Harry was trying very hard to stay positive.
Suddenly the door flew open and the boys burst in. "Did we miss it? Is she awake yet?" Liam gasped, looking over to the bed.
Harry shook his head. "No, not yet." he muttered.
Niall went over to him, put a hand on his shoulder and squeezed. "She will, mate, giver her time."
As if on cue, your hand moved in Harry's, the heart monitor spiked and then your eyes opened slowly, blinking.
Harry jumped up, not entirely sure what to do. With Niall next to him he watched, mesmerized, mouth slightly open and eyes only focused on you.
Finally your eyes stayed open, looking around the room and stopping on the four boys standing beside your bed.
Harry smiled. "Hello, love. Good to see those gorgeous eyes again."
You frowned, licked your lips and tried to speak, but nothing would come out. Harry immediately jumped into motion, pouring a glass of water and handing it to you.
Your eyes stayed questioning on the four boys as you took a few sips. You cleared your throat and tried again.
"Thanks." you said, with a raspy voice that barely sounded like you, "And thank you for the eye thing, but may I ask why I'm in the hospital and, well, who are you?" the jaws of all four boys dropped and they could only stare at you.
