Demon Pit Fighting

Chapter Two

Mk eyes scanned over the other demons in the arena, anxiety chills washed over his body. He didn't expect so many big demon's to show up. Then again Red Son was amazing and beautiful. His cheeks flushed a light pink as he thought of the fire demon, he almost didn't catch Mei shouting his name.

"Mei? What are you doing here?"

Mei rushed up almost knocking over her friend "Macaque told me that you were doing this pit fight thingy!"

The brunette sighed, he didn't tell her or the others because he didn't want them to worry "yea.....i-i just couldn't lose Red Son to some one who might not cherish him....."

Mei bounced in place as she tried to hold in a squeal "That is so sweet!!!!"

The dragon girl launched herself at the monkey demon, knocking him down and hugging him. She was thrilled that he was finally doing something about his crush on the fire demon. Mk chuckled letting his friend squish him for a bit before he tried to squirm away. Mei got the hit and hopped back onto her feet then pulled him onto his.

"Well when I heard what was happening i did some digging on some of the demon's" the dragon girl waved her phone around a bit with a mischievous smirk.

"Oh? Is that allowed?"

Mei shrugged "Macaque said there weren't really rules to this sooooooo i figured I'd help you out!"

Mk wasn't a big fan of cheating but under the circumstances he would let it happen "what did ya get me~"

"I wrote down ever demon's weakness" Mei gave an evil laugh as she held up the paper "well almost every demon....."

"Mei thats amazing! Who did you miss?"

"The Crystal Ice Demon......i couldn't find much on him..." the dragon growled.

"Well every little bit helps" Mk plopped down on the ground and patted the spot next to him.

His bestie smiled and sat down next to him, they both went over the list and discussed the different plans for each demon. He was thankful Macaque sought her out, the information she collected would come in handy.

When they were done the dragon hugged him and wished him luck. Unfortunately she had to meet up with her parents and couldn't stick around. A part of Mk was happy for that, he followed the other's into the arena. His stomach twisting with anxiety, he just had to keep telling himself he was doing this for Red Son.

Iron Fan looked into the arena from where her family and her sat. It was quite the turn out, demon's were jumping at the chance to claim her child's hand in marraige. Bull King on the other hand was displeased, he didn't think any of these lowly demon's were worthy of his precious prince.

"Quite the turn out~" Iron Fan smiled at the familiar voice and looked behind her to see the familiar shadow monkey.

"Mihou i didn't think you would come by."

"Of course this is free entertainment~" Macaque chuckled "plus me and peaches wanted to see who the winner would be."
