When we stop at a red light, I look at Harry who was still whimpering in pain. I put a hand to his cheek and waited until he looked back at me to start talking, "Don't worry. I'm gonna get you help. I promise. You'll feel better really soon, okay?"
Harry whimpers in response. "L-Lou, it hurts.."
"I know it does baby. I know. We'll be there in a minute or two," I try to calm him down but it seems he's too overwhelmed with pain.
I pull up to the hospital and park in the handicap spot as I knew Harry wouldn't be able to walk for too long.
I got out of the car and help Harry out too, with one arm around his waist.
Harry lets out a wail. "N-no! P-please don't m-make me walk!"
"Okay, I won't, I won't," I say quickly, not wanting to cause him any more pain.
"I'll be right back, okay?" I decide.
When Harry nodded weakly, I run into the building and told the lady up front what was going on.
"And he can't walk at all?" The lady asks.
"It hurts him too much. Just please, help him," I plead.
The lady presses a few buttons on the telephone and asks for a wheelchair.
When it was brought over, I take it quickly and make my way back to Harry.
He was leaning against the car with his hands gripping his hair.
"Here baby. Sit down... there you go," I say when Harry got seated in the chair.
I wheel him back into the building and to my surprise, doctors were waiting for him and were bringing him back into a room.
Harry whimpers and grabs my hand. "T-the show..."
"Sweetie, the show doesn't matter, okay? It can wait or be rescheduled. That's not important right now. What's important is getting you better."
"B-but you're gonna have t-to go.."
"I'm not going anywhere. I'm right here," I give his hand a squeeze.
Harry smiles softly up at me, holding my arm. "I'm s-scared."
"Oh don't be scared Haz. It'll be okay. You're gonna be alright."
"What if I'm not?"
I then kneel down and bring Harry into a hug.
"Don't think like that. You're gonna be okay. And if for some reason something's really wrong, then I'm gonna be here with you. I'm not leaving."
I release him from the hug and looked him in the eyes, "You're gonna be okay."
Harry pulls me into another tight hug, crying into my shoulder.
I rub up and down his back, "Shhh. You're okay. It's okay, sweetheart. You're okay."
The nurse clears her throat. "We have to take him back for a few tests if that's alright with you, Mr. Tomlinson."
I slowly pull away from Harry, "Are you okay with that?"
Harry whimpers but nods. "Kiss first?"
I blush and press my lips to Harry's softly.
"I'll see you in a bit."
Harry whimpers and nods. "Call mom for me?"
"What would you want me to say?" I ask.
"I don't know. Just tell her I'm in the hospital and she doesn't have to come until we know something."
"Okay, I will."
Harry squeezes my hand before going off with the doctors.
When the nurses wheel Harry down the hallway, I pull out my phone and called Anne.
She picks up right away, "Hello?"
"Hey, uhm Harry wanted me to tell you that he's in the hospital an—"
"What? What happened? What's wrong? Are you okay? Is Harry okay?"
"Woah woah. Anne it's okay. He's okay. He's getting some tests done right now but I'm sure he's fine," I try to reassure her.
"Louis, what's wrong with him?" Anne speaks, worry clear in her voice.
"I don't know. He said he was dizzy and his legs hurt. Like a lot. He begged me not to make him walk," I admit.
"What hospital is it?" Anne asks.
"Anne, I get you want to help but Harry doesn't want you to worry. He told me he doesn't want you to come until we know something. So for right now, stay calm. He just wanted you to know."
"Okay, but the second you get results I want to know what they are," Anne decides.
"I will. I'll keep in touch."
"Okay."
"Alright, bye."
About an hour and a half later, the nurse who came to take Harry comes out to where I was sitting.
"Mr. Tomlinson?" She asks gently.
My head shot up, "What is it?"
"We have Harry in a room now. He's feeling pretty miserable. We're waiting on his scans now."
I stand up, "what room?"
"Follow me."
The nurse took me to Harry's room and I walk in to see Harry sitting up in the bed while clutching a pillow to his chest.
"Harry? Are you okay?" I asked as I sat down on his bed.
Harry shakes his head. "T-they said something I-is wrong w-with my l-legs."
I held his cheeks in my hands, running my thumb across his cheekbone, "What's wrong? What did they say?"
Harry leans into my touch. "T-they s-said that something is w-wrong with the b-bone. I d-don't know."
I got up and looked around and saw a red button that was labeled 'nurse'. I click it and not even 30 seconds later, a nurse walked in.
"What's going on?" The nurse asks.
"He told me you said there's something wrong with his bone. What does that mean? What's wrong with it?"
She sighs softly. "You might want to take a seat Mr. Tomlinson."
