"Do you need help getting in?" I asked.
"Can I try myself?"
"Yeah, go ahead. I'm right here if you need me."
Harry nods and pushes himself up out of the wheelchair, wincing when he stands up. He grips the car door but lowers himself into the passenger seat.
Once Harry gets settled, I put his wheelchair in the back seat and move over to the driver's seat.
Harry smiles up at me happily.
"What?" I ask smiling back.
"I did it!"
My smile turns to a wide grin, "Yeah you did."
Harry smiles at me, laying his head in the window. "When do we find out results?"
"I'm not sure. Hopefully soon though."
Harry bites his lip and nods. "Are you mad?"
I furrow my eyebrows and shake my head,"No, of course not."
"Promise?"
"I promise."
Harry smiles weakly. "Maybe we should tell the boys."
"If you want to, we can."
"I think it would be better. They deserve to know," Harry says softly. "I just don't want them to worry too much."
"Okay. Do you want to have them over so we can tell them?"
Harry nods. "That'd be good. I don't want to lie to them."
"Alright."
I drive for a few more minutes before I pulled into the driveway. I got Harry's wheelchair and opened his door.
"Can you get out on your own?"
Harry nods, pushing himself up only to fall.
I grasp Harry's arm to steady him, "Woah, woah. Careful."
Harry's eyes water. "I-I f-fell..."
"I know. It's okay sweetie. I'm gonna help you," I grip Harry's arms and slowly lower him into his wheelchair.
Harry lets out soft sobs. "I-I'm useless.."
I frown, feeling so sorry for him, "You're not useless Haz. You just need help right now and that's perfectly okay."
Harry shakes his head.
"You are not useless. I promise you that. I don't mind helping you. It's okay," I try to assure him.
"I-it's not okay!" Harry cries softly.
"Harry..." I sigh sadly.
Harry shakes his head. "I don't f-feel good.."
"What do you mean? What's wrong? Is it your legs?" I ask worriedly.
Harry nods. "It just h-hurts."
"Okay. Let me get you inside," I began to wheel him forward and through the front door.
"Didn't you say you wanted a bath?"
Harry nods. "Can I?"
"Of course," I wheel him into the bathroom.
I run warm water in the tub and pour in soap to make bubbles.
Harry smacks my bum.
"Hey!" I laugh and turn around, "what was that for?"
Harry giggles. "You're cute. Do you come here often?"
"Matter of fact, I do," I lean in closer to Harry.
Harry flutters his eyelashes prettily. "Do you?"
"Mmhm," I hum and close the distance between us, kissing him slowly.
Harry hums happily into the kiss. "You have nice lips."
I smile and kiss him again, my hand going to his waist.
Harry giggles. "You're being scandalous."
I chuckle and bring my other hand to his face, tracing his jawline slowly.
Harry looks at me with loving eyes. "I love you."
Even though he's said these words to me before, they still leave me with butterflies in my stomach.
"I love you too. Let's get you in the bath now."
Harry grins. "Come with me?"
I smile back, "of course."
Harry smiles as I help him in the bath.
He fiddles with this hair when we get in.
"What if I lose my hair?"
I move in behind him so he can rest on my chest, "You're beautiful with or without it."
"But I like when you play with my hair. Would you still touch me?"
I wrap one of my arms around his shoulder and the other around his arm. I then left a soft kiss on the back of his neck, "Of course I will."
Harry leans into it. "You won't be disappointed if I lose my hair?"
"Not at all. I love you," I said for what felt like the thousandth time today.
Harry nods softly. "I love you too. I wanna get better."
"I do too," I sighed sadly.
Harry frowns, snuggling into my chest. "You're the only person that makes me feel better. I just want to be with you. You're my favorite."
"Well, you're in luck because I am with you," I kiss his head and press my cheek to the side of his head, bringing him close.
Harry grins and kisses my chest. "We better get up, boobear."
"Yeah," I agreed. "I'm gonna help you onto the toilet seat so you can get dressed."
Harry nods. I let up the stopper and help him stand, letting him put most of his weight on me.
I can feel him tense up in pain as I step out of the tub. He brings his foot up and out of the tub but not without a tiny cry of pain. I get him seated onto the seat and I grab a dry off towel.
"You need help drying off or are you okay?" I ask.
Harry shakes his head with a grimace. "I'm okay. I got it."
Harry dries himself off okay, just struggling with his legs. He's really just sore more than anything. Having his legs moved and poked and prodded at just made it worse.
Harry lets out a deep shaky breath and whimpers. "Can I h-have more pain meds? Please?"
"Yeah, I'll get them," I said and opened the cabinet and retrieved some medicine.
"Here you go," I handed them to him.
Harry took them, pushing himself into his wheelchair and going to our room.
Before I was able to get Harry in bed, the doorbell rang.
"Are you expecting someone?" I asked Harry.
Harry shook his head.
"I'll get it," I walk out of the room and to the door.
When I open the door I saw Liam, Niall and Zayn standing there.
