He walked out head hanging low. She took time to think about everything that has happened. She was brought into her true home with open arms. She met all kinds of people who would soon become friends. Her friends would turn on her. A boy who cared for her killed her only to become one of them. Though she was angry that her friends lied to her and such, she wouldn't have been safe if she had stayed in her weak little human body. She believed there could have been another way, but in a small island there were few options.
She thought abandoning the people who brought her into her long lost home was the most irrational thing she's done. She started to feel bad and had no idea what to do but the first thing that came to her mind was to apologize to Lo'ak. But then what? She came to the decision to apologize to Lo'ak and when more ideas came she would bide by them. But first she had to go find him and apologize. She stood up on her two feet and walked to the beach. When she walked out all eyes went on her but she wasn't worried about that. She was worried that she wouldn't find him.
And there he was, sitting all alone. A wave of nervousness came above her but she coughed up all the courage she could to make this right between the two. "Hey" She mumbled. He turned to her and looked her up and down. "Hey" He replied, turning away. Lyre sat by him as he stared out at the horizon. "I'm sorry Lo'ak. About everything. I shouldn't have reacted the way I did. I knew you were trying to help me-" "Why are you apologizing?" "Because I shouldn't have-" "You reacted like any rational being would if someone killed you to do something without your consent" He said. "Lo'ak you were trying to help me. Could you have at least asked me about it? yes but I shouldn't have turned my back on you or your family after everything you have done" She replied.
Lo'ak looked at her with his golden eyes. "Lyre...there's something I need to tell you..." "What is it Lo'ak?" She spoke softly, scooching closer to him. "I-I love you. I have for a little while now" He confessed, quietly. Lyre stared at him, with no words in her mind. "Not only that but, I see you Lyre." "I...see you too, Lo'ak" Lyre's breath hitched as Lo'ak ran his hands through her back, bringing her closer. "I've been wanting to do this for a long time he said, almost in a growl. His innocent, quiet self was disappearing as his golden eyes stared into Lyre's. "What?" she asked softly. "This" He said before crashing his lips into hers.
She ran her hands up his chest and around his neck as his lips massaged hers. She put her forehead against Lo'ak's, breaking the kiss. The two panted, trying to catch their breath before Lo'ak pulled her onto his lap. His hands held onto her thighs, keeping her steady and balanced. Lyre took Lo'ak's face and put her lips onto his. Lo'ak took both hands and held her back. Still kissing her, he untied the back of her shell top before pushing her down and getting on top of her. She wrapped her legs around his waist, getting comfortable. The shell top hanged down on her shoulders. Lo'ak lifted her up gently to take it off fully until a voice echoed.
"Lo'ak"
The two turned their heads to see Jake Sully and Neytiri looking absolutely concerned. Lo'ak jumped off Lyre. Lyre turned to the other way so she didn't flash them and to also tie her top from falling off completely. Jake cleared his throat. "Lo'ak I need you here for a little bit...er..if you have a little bit" "Uh yeah!...sir" Lo'ak turned to lyre, completely red. Awkwardness flooded the two. "Uh bye" "Bye" and they walked off. "Lyrah" Neytiri spoke. "Yes...Miss Sully?" "I need you for a moment also" She said.
"Okay"
