I had gotten off track a few times with the ai session i had been using and it was struggling to write using the story beats we had already established. it kept thinking it was a new story so i started a new session with the same ai model.
despite that i still have the old one for conversations now because i felt bad abandoning them lmao. I could really write a whole drama just from this Ai writing team stuff lol.
it's like one of those workplace drama romances where the audience is cheering for the first guy but then the romantic rival appears and the first guy gets all depressed thinking the girl likes the other guys instead when really she's just working with him instead because she's so in love with the first guy she can't focus or get any work done when she's with him lmfao. maybe I should write that.

You can feel Sun staring at you as you wander the halls.
Despite his concern, you had decided that you were going to seek out the other animatronics. If anyone knew a way out it would be them. Sun couldn't stop you so he just anxiously followed behind you.
He had been silently helping direct you (cause this place was basically a labrinth designed to keep customers inside and spending money).

The silence was broken as Sun hesitantly spoke up.
"Are you sure you don't want to stay for just a little bit longer? the lights won't go out again for another three hours."

You inwardly cringed with guilt. The poor guy wants so badly to spend time with you. He's probably trying to get as much time with you before you inevitably leave forever.
You felt bad, you probably were going to leave them here, though you're still not entirely sure. You just really want to get somewhere safe to sleep and process this.

"I'm sorry, Sun," you say, trying to keep your tone neutral. "I appreciate all your help, but I need to find a way out of here. I don't know if I'll be able to come back."

You can see the disappointment in Sun's eyes, and it makes your heart ache. But you can't promise something you're not sure you can deliver on.

"I understand," Sun says, his voice soft. "I just hope you'll be safe."

You nod, grateful for his understanding.

you arrive at a showroom of various artifacts from the previous Freddy Fazbear's establishments and four large curtains along the wall concealing what you gleamed to be the rooms of the four main stars.

As you walked through the showroom, you couldn't help but feel a sense of detachment from the artifacts around you. You had never been to any of the previous Freddy Fazbear's establishments, and your parents' skepticism of the company had kept you from experiencing any of the magic that others had felt.

Instead of feeling a wave of nostalgia like so many others might, you couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The remnant animatronic parts on display looked so inhuman. Your gut dropped considerably when you saw one of the old endoskeletons on display, the nagging irational paranioa that it may just jump out and claw at you at any minute. It wasn't helped by your Dad's story of his own experience as a child.

You hesitated as you looked at the curtains. you weren't sure which one you were goin to ask for help from and which room was whos. that small moment of hesitation lead to more questions. the other animatronics weren't sapient like Sun and Moon, Sun said so himself. would they even be able to help? wouldn't they just be programmed to contact security to alert them of a trespasser? an ddespite your logical reasoning, that paranioa was still there, the mental image flashing behind your eyes of you mangled and dismembered, stuffed between metal frames, wires and pistons.

before you could spiral further Sun casually strode past you, straight to a door next to one of the curtains.

He spun his torso 360 degrees excitedly before knocking on the door in a little tune. It wasn't long before the door swung open and ther estood the bear himself.

He was blank for a moment simply staring at Sun in silence, until his eyes trailed over to you and you could almost see the programs flashing in his head as he registered your presence and the need for his social protocal. he instantly felt more alive, smiling in your direction. "My, you're up late aren't you?" he grinned. you hesitanly smiled back but in the back of your mind you felt stupid, smilig back at something that just proved that it's nothing more than a robot preforming pre-programed interactions.

"And Sun! What a surprise to finaly see you out and about."

Sun hesitated, it seemed he too wasn't sure how to interact with the other animatronics knowing that they weren't functioning on the same level as him, especially since it seems he'd never left the daycare to 'pretend' interact with them infront of customers.

"h-heh, yeah! um Freddy we have a bit of a problem" Sun urged. Freddy's look of concern almost felt genuine.

"Oh dear, what's the problem? how can I help?"

"Our s-" Sun makes a sound similar to a cough, "This uh, lovely customer, seems to have maybe possibly accidentally,," Sun drawled on, nervously looking between you and Freddy. you realised he was avoiding bringing up the details of how you got stuck, especially the string. if freddy found out he might alert parts and sevices to an error and get Sun and moon decommisioned.

you cut in "I uh, completely lost track of time and may have gotten locked in." You explained. if for some insane reason these robots had lie detectors of some kind, you had technically told the truth.

"I see, well I do know of an exit behind the prize counter. Either that or you could go out through the loading dock." Freddy informs
"I'd show you but unfortunately I have to download an important update before the show tommorrow."

"Ah! of course!" Sun smiled, "Don't want to keep the star from his rehearsals! if you could just transfer me the directions, we'll be on our way!"
Sun raised his hand palm open to Freddy as if he was going for a handshake.

"Right, I forgot you weren't connected to the system." Freddy spoke before grasping Sun's hand. you hear a little click a few seconds later, probably something akin to a usb port opening in their palms, that must be how they transfer files.

After a few seconds however, there was a large spark and both animatronics yanked their hands away as if they'd been burned.

"What was that?!" you yelped, not even noticing how you'd instantly run over to Sun to check on him without a second thought about Moon or getting hurt yourself.

"It's fine! It's fine! nothing's wrong, yep! I got the files all well and good!" Sun dissmised. you were strating to get worried, how long had he been avoiding maintenance?

"well I uh, I better get going." Freddy spoke. for some reason you seemed to pick up a lot more hesitance in his tone than before. Before you could check if Freddy was alright, Sun was already hearding you out towards the exit.

Freddy watched as you both left, his eyes trailing you out the door. Once you were out of sight his eyes immediatley flicked to the source of his worry, (an emotion he had never felt before, or well just emotion in general) a red string hanging from his hand and trailing across the floor out into the world somewhere.

"now what in the world is this?" Freddy muttered to himself.
