"It was Richie's family." I looked around as sirens were heard. I walked outside as multiple ambulances and cops showed up. Soon after talking and giving my statement, a paramedic yelled, "We've got a live one!" I looked over to see Chad. Mindy ran over as I walked over to Chad. "Thought I lost my best friend." I said, making Chad smile. "You ain't losing us anytime soon." Mindy said clearly high. I laughed, and got in the ambulance with them both.
