"혜린? 남혜린? 그녀는 여기 있어요?" (Hyerin ? Nam Hyerin ? Is she here ?), someone called out as they looked over their roster. Hyerin quickly stood a bit nervous, but didn't want to disappoint. "I am here..." The person simply nodded as Hyerin took her seat once more with her father.

She whispered as to not draw unnecessary attention. "Dad, you said I'd like it here. Why does it feel like you are shipping me off to a boarding school I will hate ?" Her father smiled as he knew his daughter was overall just nervous. This place was supposed to comfort her. Not make her feel bad. "혜린아, 네 엄마가 여기 가셨단다. 사실, 당신의 외가는 대대로 이 땅에서 살았습니다. 당신은 여기서 기분 나쁠 것 없어요. 알겠어요?" (Your mother went here, Hyerin ah. In fact, your mother' family lived on this land for generations. You have nothing to feel bad about here. Okay ?)

Hyerin simply sighed as she didn't have much choice. Besides her father seemed absolutely confident she'd like it here. Hyerin wasn't too convinced, but wasn't going to argue. The person from before approached her father, hugging him. "It has been too long, Oppa. How have you been ?" The person smiled sweetly as her father answered. There was something subtly cold about who spoke with her father, the Headmistress. "I have brought my daughter to attend--" He cuts himself off gesturing to Hyerin, "Say hello, Hyerin ah."

Hyerin simply waved as the woman offered a smile in her direction. The smile only holding warmth in the smile, not the eyes. "I am sure Hyerin will love it here, Oppa. After all there is so much she can learn about herself here..." Her father nodded before the woman handed Hyerin some things. These things basically were directing Hyerin to her dorm, & the uniform alongside the school rule book.

Hyerin said her goodbyes before making her way to her dorm. Upon entering the dorm she was met with vibrant color & pastels. Hyerin was very much like the beloved character Wednesday, she usually wore monochromatic colors. About two girls enthusiastically introduced themselves to her. "Hello, roomie ! I am Park Yunhee & she is Yang Taeyeon."

Hyerin sat her things on the only empty bed. "안녕하세요. 남혜린입니다. 둘 다 만나서 반갑습니다." (Hello, I am Nam Hyerin. Nice to meet you both.) Both girls looked surprised before Yunhee spoke up once more. "Nam ? Is that your father' surname ?" Hyerin offered a small smile as she shook her head. "It is my mother' maiden name. My father' family name is Lee."

Taeyeon yelled in pure delight, "So you're a descendant ! This land the school sits on has been in your family for generations !" Hyerin sighed as she knew on some level she'd be treated this way strictly with the knowledge of her mother' family. "Does it have to be this big deal ? I really don't want to make a fuss out of this..." Taeyeon seemed very enthusiastic. Too enthusiastic... Yun-Hee seemed just as excited, but more tame.

Conversation ran cold as everyone began settling in. It wasn't long before all students were to mingle at a orientation mixer. Hyerin kept to herself when a mysterious boy tapped her on the shoulder. We'll just call this enigma of a person, Luca. He had a ghostly feel about him, but that could just been a massive coincidence.

"따라와, 자기. 당신이 정확히 안전하지 않기 때문에... 이 비참한 곳의 비밀의 열쇠를 드릴 수 있습니다..." (Come with me, darling. For you are not exactly safe... I can give you the key to the secrets of this wretched place...) Luca was practically luring Hyerin away. Why was this place unsafe ? What secrets could her mother' family possibly have hidden on this land ? Was Luca even human ?
