"Did you see her?" Kate asks, annoyed while driving. "She is magnificent. I want her in my music video. What are his videos on tik-tok, can you find it? I want to see that."

Kris taps on her phone as Kate drives to the place to end her evening.

"She's fast," Kris says simply, "but she's got charisma.

— Wait until I park," Kate said, pulling up to a store parking lot. "It's true that it's short, but she stands up to the guy without flinching. I love her, Kris. I had a crush, like with you. Listen, we're just going to have a drink in this club, I show up and we're off, I have to work on my concept, I'm going to her house tomorrow. I want her while it's in my head.

— Minimum one hour in the club, Kate, that's the deal.

— I understand," sighs Kate.

Leaving the club after pretending to have fun, dancing, not having touched the cocktails, Kate accompanies Kris home before returning to her own house. She's not sleepy, thinking of only one thing, Mary Stone. This girl inspired her. The night was short, if she had slept four hours it was a feat, but she didn't feel tired yet so it was still manageable. Following the indications of her GPS, she arrived in a small residential area, pleasant and clean, to finally park in front of the address given by Abigail. Before ringing the doorbell, she preferred to make sure she was home.

"Hello, Mary, this is Kate, Kate Valentine.

— Oh, hello, Kate.

— Are you working today? Are you at home ?

— Um, yes, no, I mean I'm home," replies Abigail, opening the door as someone rings the bell. "Uh... Kate, hi! Come in, please. Welcome to my home. Kara! Kate Valentine is here. In the house and on the phone.

— You're funny," laughed Kate, hanging up.

"Hello, Kate, come on in. Welcome home," greets Kara, putting her at ease.

"Your place is adorable," said Kate, glancing at the interior decor. "There, I wanted to take Mary, Abby, home about what I told you about yesterday. I was quite inspired that night. The song is done, I see the concept of the clip, of what I want, I would like to see with you if it's feasible, Abby.

— Oh! Yes, that's..." begins to stammer Abigail.

"Abby's a little nervous, paparazzi were circling the surf shop this morning, she was a bit upset.

— I understand, Abby. Many are vultures, some have ethics, but few. You have to know how to play with it. I am sorry for you. Me, I have a whole panoply in the trunk of my car, different wigs, eyeglasses and sunglasses, clothes. I go somewhere dressed a certain way and I come out as a brunette or a redhead with another outfit, with glasses.

— That's clever," congratulates Abigail, impressed.

"I'll understand if you don't want to expose yourself more than that. Do you still want to come and listen to the song and tell me what you think of my idea? I offered it to you and I still keep my word.

— Oh, uh now? I have to go see Shanna, a friend who is pregnant, to make sure everything is okay.

— I'll take you. Is it far?

— No, five houses up, to the right.

— Come on up, I'll take you. Don't worry, Kara, I'll take care of her. Don't be fooled by anything published in the tabloids, I'm not drunk from morning to night, I don't do drugs and my house is not a harem, I have more of a nun's life in fact.

— I trust you, Kate, or I can always release Bethany. She's a real mama bear when it comes to Abby. Not even an entire SWAT company can stop her from chasing you.
