Percy was rudely awakened by the incessant ringing of the alarm. The alarm was barely audible, but surviving in Tartarus had caused his senses to sharpen drastically, much more than a regular demigod, or any competent god.Luckily, neither Nico nor Apollo had woken up. So Percy was the chosen guy to leave the warm comfort of the bed to go turn the alarm off, which was on the other side of the room. He was half tempted to smack it in Apollo's face. Apollo was the god of the sun, shouldn't his timings be a bit more accurate? Who the hell sets an alarm for 3:28? He sighed and got changed, leaving the room, sleep just a fading wistful thought. He silently went down the stairs, not wanting to wake anyone up. He slipped on his shoes for a morning jog. Percy opened the door, the biting chill of the September air hitting his face. As he paced himself he found himself lost in though, running like there was no tomorrow. His thoughts were drowning him, Annabeth's words ringing in his ears.
"I love you Seaweed Brain."
"Me and you forever."
"Do you seriously think I ever loved you? I'm too good for you Percy, we both know it. The whole camp does. Maybe only a few people mistreat you, but everyone's thinking it. You killed them all. Every life in the war was your fault. You don't deserve to live, forget being happy."
"Go rot in Tartarus."Tartarus

Tartarus
TartarusThe Pit haunted him, his every fibre of being was consumed by it and for a moment he thought he was using the blessing of Hades to shadow travel there. He gasped, regaining his grasp on reality. He couldn't survive the Pit again. A sinking feeling of nausea and dread spread through him, until it suddenly vanished. Without noticing, he had reached the outside of Grimmauld Place. He quietly walked in and took a shower, before checking the time.
It was 4:57.
He walked into the kitchen, grabbing a knife and some apples. Cutting apples. It had been so long since he had done such a normal, everyday thing. As he was cutting the apples, a bit of boredom overcame him, the nostalgia of cutting apples with his mum suffocating him. He skilfully started to play with the knife, getting the same sickly familiar feeling he had when he was in the battles, but some part of him liked it. Some part of him wanted him to embrace death's hold. Some wicked, cruel part of him had found war exhilarating. He started to twirl the knife on his hand, the blade almost cutting his skin. Although it wouldn't harm him - he still had the Curse Of Achilles. He expertly twirled the knife again, the knife playfully dancing along his hands, the moves so quick and so ... so freakishly terrifying. His mastery with the small, usually harmless blade was downright terrifying.
Remus chose that exact moment to walk in. By reflex, Percy threw the knife straight at him, but Remus being Remus, dodged it.
"Good morning to you too, Mr Jackson." He said, grabbing a mug and starting to make some tea.
"Sorry. Reflex. And please don't call me Mr Jackson. I'm just Percy." Percy said, very wary of the man in front of him. "You know who we are, don't you? You're a Lycanthrope. A werewolf."
"Indeed I am, Mr - Percy. Very curious. I know who you are, I've heard stories. But how many of them are actually true? I won't ask you to tell me. If anything of what I have heard is true, your life has been hard enough. I won't force you to revisit those memories."
"Thanks. When will we leave for Hogwarts?"
"Soon, my boy. The train leaves at 11:00 so we have plenty of time. It's only 5 am. Have you packed all your belongings?" Remus asked, now adding some sugar into his tea.
"Umm, I actually don't know. Dumbledore said something about the things already being there so I'm not really sure, you see. I'm just hoping it is, I only have one pair of bedsheets- I mean robes." Percy said sheepishly, a dusty pink colouring his cheeks at the last statement.
"In all my years, never have I ever heard someone call the Hogwarts robes some bedsheets." Remus let out a light-hearted chuckle, a smile kindly planted onto his face.
"Ah, I have a question. Are you travelling with 2 gods, perhaps? Apollo and Aphrodite, I think. They seemed awfully suspicious." Remus asked, now sipping at his tea.
"Was it really that obvious? I knew they would blow our cover." Percy grumbled.
"All of you four seem very suspicious. I'd bet Dumbledore wants me to keep an eye on you lot. Doesn't want you getting into trouble. Easy enough since I'm a teacher, but still extra work."
"Wait, you work at Hogwarts? That's good." Percy grinned.
"Why, may I ask?" He said, raising his eyebrows.
"Now I know which lesson to bunk." Percy said, a cheeky smile plastered onto his face.
Remus chuckled, and replied, "I'll only let you off a few times, if I always let you off I'll end up getting reported to the Ministry. The Ministry are always sticking their nose in places with which they have no business."
"The Ministry?"
"It's not your worry. I should go back and gather my things, I'll see you at Hogwarts." Remus said, leaving the room, with his unfinished tea.
Percy just sat down thinking hard. Now he knew he had an ally in Hogwarts. He wasn't sure if Dumbledore knew who he was. Percy saw a book on the counter and started reading it. It was some sort of ancient wizardry encyclopaedia. He read about the History of Hogwarts, and a lot about charms, transfiguration, hexes and offensive spells. He also found a spell which suited him perfectly. Aguamenti. He tried it out, and many of the spells worked at first go. He wondered how it would be if he could fly. But then again, even with Zeus' blessing, he wouldn't count on it.
He started learning more violent spells.

RictsempraAnd some for pranks, like Wingardium Leviosa. Apparently there was a difference of pronunciation. It's LeviOsa not LeviosA. He practised and surprisingly, did very well, covering much of the first five years content. However, Percy also realised he had read most of the book with barely any difficulty of his dyslexia, but as he turned to grab the book, it had disappeared. The book definitely carried some sorts of dark magic, but it also seemed to fix his dyslexia. He had a feeling it was easier being a demigod and having natural magical blood, but the book was something he would need to look into. There were so many spells written in there which he could use.
But for now, he would need to get ready to go to Hogwarts.
A/N I rly wanted him to go to Hogwarts in this Chapter but it's literally
So u get the memo. I'm rly sorry abt this chapter, it is such a filler 😭 I mean apart from the book. No, the book isn't going to be like the Half Blood prince, it's different. Thank you for reading, feel free to drop a comment. And holy hell how did I get so many reads?
