Y/n yawned as she stepped downstairs. She saw Kazuha sitting on the couch, watching tv.

"Hey." She said as she sat next to him.

"Oh hey." Kazuha said when he saw Y/n.

"I'm surprised you're up this early. When I first met you, you gave off the vibe that you weren't the type to wake up early." Y/n chuckled.

"Then again- I was high." Kazuha snickered.

"High as a fucking kite." Y/n joked.

The two chatted for a while before Thoma came downstairs.

"Oh hey guys! Y/n, Is it alright if we head out soon? I really don't wanna have to deal with a lot of people at the store." Thoma said as he prepared his bag for outings.

"I don't mind. I'll go get ready." Y/n said before getting up and heading to her room to get ready.

"I was finally getting to know her, Thoma." Kazuha groaned.

"I'm sorry!" Thoma said, raising his hands. "I just wanna head out before the store is filled with people."

Kazuha scoffed before grabbing the tv remote and turning on the tv, sitting in his self-pity.

After a moment, Y/n came downstairs wearing clothes that are more appropriate for going out.

"Ready to go?" Thoma asked.

"Yeah!" Y/n said before she headed out with Thoma.

"Mind if we take my car?" Thoma asked.

"I don't mind." Y/n said before the two got in Thoma's car.

It was nice inside. It wasn't fancy, but it still looked pretty.

They buckled up before Thoma backed out of the driveway and began driving them to the store.

"So, how are you settling in?" Thoma asked.

"I'm settling in fine. I managed to unpack all my things yesterday before bed." Y/n said.

"You're being treated alright, right? I know a few of our roommates uh.. can be a little cold." Thoma sighed.

"For the most part, yeah. Although I don't think Alhaitham likes me. He kicked me out of the library almost as fast as I went in there." Y/n chuckled.

"He can be nice.. sometimes." Thoma said, a slight smile on his face.

Y/n raised an eyebrow. "If you say so." She said.

The two soon arrived at the store and got out of the car. "By the way, I'll be paying for everything if that's okay. Including your clothes." Thoma said as the two walked to the entrance.

"Are you sure? I mean- I don't- I don't know if .."

"It's okay. Count this as a little date! Well not a date- well- y'know." Thoma said, a slight hint of red on his face.

Y/n chuckled. "I get it, Thoma." She said with a smile.

The two headed inside and they collectively decided that they'll grab the things Thoma wanted first and then get Y/n clothes.

Y/n was having trouble keeping up with Thoma since he was walking quite fast, speed walking if you will.

"T-Thoma? Do you mind slowing down a little? I'm having a hard time keeping up with you." Y/n spoke up, causing Thoma to widen his eyes as he slowed down.

"I'm so sorry, Y/n. When I go to the store I go into this strange focused version of myself." Thoma chuckled. "Oh! Why don't you sit in the cart and I can push?" He suggested as he went to a full stop.
