Ophelia's POV
(don't be a silent reader<3)

"Happy birthday to you~" we sing a birthday song for my best friend Lili, who just entered the dorm and saw a big surprise in front of her.

"Happy birthday!" Bria and I yelled at the same time and hugged our birthday girl.

"I love you guys so much" Lili's eyes go teary.

"We love you too"

"Happy birthday, Hale!" the hockey team greets her.

"Thank you, guys" Lili wipes the tears from her face, trying to save her makeup.

"I didn't expect you to do a surprise" she says.

"Well, we did" Bria giggles. "Now take a seat, our birthday girl" she leads Lili to sit in the middle of the couch in front of the cake, which is full of lit candles waiting for her.

We all sit around the table too.

"Make a wish" Dareen says when he sits beside his girlfriend.

"Give me a second" Lili intensively thinks about her wish before she blows out the candles.

"Wohoo" everyone cheers for her.

"Arden, turn the music on" Bria tells him. He walks towards tv and after a few minutes, the dorm is filled with music.

"Let's party!" Koen enters the dorm with a confetti.

The living room is full of Liliya's friends. There's almost the whole hockey team here with her boyfriend, me, Bria, a few other friends from her lectures and people from her ice skating club.

"Who's going to dance with me?" Bria stands up from the chair and goes to our mini dance floor on the other side of the room.

"Count me in" Koen, her boyfriend, walks to her with a dance moves. They both start dancing together.

"Give me a chance to dance with you, my babe" Dareen asks Liliya to go dancing. She gives him her hand and they both go to Bria and Koen.

As I sit at the table, I look around to find Arden, but he's nowhere to be seen. When suddenly, a warm hand touches my shoulder from the back.

"Dance?" I feel disappointed when I see that it's Cade Mason and not Arden.

"Can't, sorry. I have a leg injury" I lie. I don't want to dance with him.

"Oh, I see. That's fine" he walks away and takes a beer from the table.

The front door opens. Ren walks in with a girl next to him. As I look better, I see it's Milani. They hold each other's hands.

"Happy birthday" they walk to Lili and greet her. Milani gives a small gift box to my friend.

"Hey!" Milani waves to me.

"Hi" I wave back. It's nice to see her here.

I turn to the table side and take a one-bite sandwich. Bria is the one who made them. They are amazing.
