// "We were too close to the stars, I've never knew somebody like you." //

It was Friday night so I didn't have anything to do since I was already feeling better. I decided to go on a walk.

It was a gorgeous night. The sky was clear and filled with twinkling stars, casting a soft glow over the world. The air was cool and crisp, with a gentle breeze carrying the scent of blooming flowers and freshly cut grass. The moon was full and bright, casting long shadows and painting the landscape with a silver sheen. As you gaze up at the heavens, you feel a sense of wonder and awe, lost in the beauty of the world around you. It's a night that fills you with peace and contentment, a reminder of the simple joys that life has to offer.

This was just what I needed right now.

As I sat down on the soft grass, I could hear a motorcycle sound really close to where I was. Maybe someone had some bad days too and wanted to relax.

The mysterious person sat back to back to me and sighed. "I'm sorry."

I raised an eyebrow. His voice was really familiar, but I couldn't figure out where I heard this voice.

"I'm sorry I made you feel miserable and like shit. I shouldn't have said these shits and be like that." Seonghwa. I knew this voice was really familiar.

Some tears escaped from my eyes and I started sobbing silently. I felt his hand meeting with mine and my heart skipped a beat. I hated him for what happened and I was trying really hard to forget everything. But no use.

"I am sorry for hurting you." I looked at the stars and took a deep breath.

"I was hurt the whole time, I just didn't said anything."

Seonghwa tightened his grip and leaned his head against mine. "Will you ever forgive me? Will you ever look at me with hearts in your eyes? Will you ever like me again?"

All these direct questions felt like a brick threw on my heart. I couldn't answer any of them.

We stood like that for some more minutes before the rain started. Seonghwa got up and he held out his hand for me to get up. He then took my wrist gently and went to his motorcycle.

"Let me take you somewhere." I got on the motorcycle and putted my hands around his waist. My heart starting beating really fast again and I could feel his heart beats too.

We rode around the city where everything was pretty, like in a movie. The lights of the city shone brightly and the silence made everything more peaceful and beautiful.

He then took me at a house that I haven't seen in my life. I think it was his house.

We got off his motorcycle and I started analyzing the house. This boy must be really rich. Everything looked so expensive.

"You will stay at my place tonight. I heard that your dad isn't home and in your neighbourhood there are some thieves." I raised an eyebrow at the end of his sentence and giggled.

"But aren't your parents home? I.. don't really wanna do something bad or get you in trouble." Seonghwa softly smiled and took me by the hand. He didn't answer my question though.

We got into his house and I just leaned on a wall. I was too tired to say or do anything. I wish I was in my bed.

"Are you hungry? Or do you wanna get straight to sleep?" I yawned and nodded for the second option.

Seonghwa chuckled. "Follow me. The guests room is really messy so you will stay in the same room as me. If you aren't comfortable tell me. I can sleep on the couch." I shook my head and went to follow him.

He opened the door to his bedroom and I remained shocked at how clean his room was. Mine is a pig house compared to his.

Seonghwa took a pair of black sweatpants and a hoodie and handed them to me. "The bathroom is the next door. You can take a shower too, if you want."

I nodded and took the clothes from him, entering the bathroom. First, I took a look in the mirror and took a deep breath. Then I went to take a shower and changed into the clothes he gave me. I always have at me a pair of underwear for when I'm going out or at someone's house to stay over.

I got out of the bathroom and went back to the bedroom. Seonghwa was on his bed finishing some work on his laptop. When he heard me entering the room, he closed it and made some space in the bed.

I got in and put my head on the cold soft pillow. Seonghwa dragged me closer and made me put my head on his chest, feeling his hearbeats. His right hand was on my back, slowly rubbing it, and his left hand was on my head. I felt safe in his arms.

As I lay there, listening to his heartbeat and feeling the warmth of his body, I couldn't help but wonder how things had turned out this way. Just a few days ago, we were arguing and yelling at each other, and now here we were, lying together in his bed.

I closed my eyes and tried to push those thoughts aside, focusing on the present moment. Seonghwa's touch was soothing, and I felt myself slowly drifting off to sleep.

But before I could fully succumb to slumber, I heard him whisper, "I'm sorry again, Taeyong. I'll make it up to you, I promise."

I didn't say anything in response, just nestled closer to him, feeling his hand continue to rub my back. It was a simple gesture, but it meant everything to me.

As I drifted off to sleep, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this unexpected moment of peace and closeness with Seonghwa. Maybe forgiveness was possible after all.
