After a discussion with Seo Yea Ji, a person with whom Lee Soo Hyuk had a troubled past, Lee Soo Hyuk just returned to his hotel room. Even though the exchange went better than he had anticipated and he was able to apologize, he couldn't help but feel exhausted. It had been a long day that included getting ready for the runway show, attending press events, and taking photos. All he wanted to do was rest and recharge his batteries.
He entered his hotel room and closed the door behind him, feeling the weight of exhaustion on his shoulders. He made his way to the mini fridge and grabbed a bottle of water, feeling the coolness of the liquid as he twisted the cap off. He climbed into bed, pulled the covers up to his chin, and placed the water bottle on the nightstand next to his phone, which was charging as he closed his eyes, and he couldn't help but think about Seo Ywa Ji. However, he pushed those thoughts aside and focused on getting a good night's sleep.
Lee Soo Hyuk looked at his phone and saw it was almost 10 p.m. He knew he had to get up early the next day, so he decided to call it a night. He closed his eyes and switched out the lights, trying to fall asleep as soon as possible. While he lay there in the dark, his thoughts returned to Seo Yea Ji and their talk. He couldn't stop replaying the words that had been said in his head. Despite his relief that they had managed to have a decent discussion for once, he couldn't escape the lethargy and weariness that had settled over him.
After what seemed like an eternity, sleep washed over him, and he fell into a deep slumber. Manager Kim stormed through the door and into Lee's hotel room, where he'd only been sleeping for a few moments. He quickly turned on the lights and began gathering Lee's belongings. "Wake up, Soo-Hyuk," he told Lee as he retrieved his luggage and started packing his belongings. "Get up! We must pack immediately!"
It took a long time for Lee Soo Hyuk to get up, but the bright light and manager Kim's voice compelled him to get up and sit on his bed. "What?" Lee inquired, his voice tired, as he reached for his phone and noticed the time was only 10:09 p.m. "Are you insane? We're meant to depart tomorrow morning; why are you here?"
Manager Kim had already gathered all of Lee's belongings and prepared the luggage when he grabbed and flung Lee's jacket at him, saying, "Let's hurry; the plane leaves at 11 p.m. tonight. I contacted the airline, who said they would do their best to accommodate us."
Lee didn't have time to think about what was happening, it was a swift and unexpected announcement, catching him off guard. So he hurried out of bed, attempting to put on his shoes and fetch his phone, "How on earth did you mess up the time?" Lee inquired, as he was becoming concerned.
Despite the urgency of the situation, Manager Kim remained composed and professional, his words measured and deliberate."I remembered the flight saying at 2 p.m. tomorrow when I booked it, but I did not check it after that." Manager Kim defended himself as they had been combing through the room, making sure that nothing had been left behind.
The atmosphere was tense, with a sense of urgency and efficiency permeating the air. In the midst of all this, Manager Kim's words landed like a heavy blow, shattering any sense of calm he had left. "You never make such missteps, Ji Joon," Lee stated as he hastily shrugged on his jacket, Lee expressed his frustration. His attire was anything but suitable for the occasion, dressed in a casual tracksuit and sweatshirt, his hair dishevelled and unkempt. He looked as if he had just rolled out of bed.
Lee's demeanour conveyed a sense of unease and discomfort as if he knew he wasn't presenting himself in the best light. He fidgeted with his jacket, trying to smooth out the wrinkles and convey a sense of professionalism as he followed Manager Kim out of the hotel room, heading for the lift, when Lee came to a halt. "Have you notified Yea-Ji?" he questioned, his gaze fixed on manager Kim.
