Seo Yea Ji strode purposefully toward her apartment, her thoughts a whirlwind of confusion and uncertainty. The first step had already been accomplished; both were seated civilly and preparing to discuss the subject. Of course, at first, none of them could speak.

Seo Yea Ji crossed her legs and settled onto the seat, her eyes fixed on the wide vista of the Han River. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing thoughts and emotions. It had been a long time since she had just sat and watched the river, lost in thought and contemplation.
