It was a night unlike any other, one that stirred up a myriad of questions within me thanks to the enigmatic Seo Yea Ji. She returned home after taking care of the problem named Su-Ah and Nang Unji, then she lay in bed feeling perplexed. Yet, Yea Ji couldn't deny that spending the weekend with Lee Soo Hyuk had allowed her to see a different side to him. In that fleeting moment, she began to second-guess her initial perception of him as a jerk, realizing that he had misunderstood a few things about her, albeit some were true.
Dealing with Yea Ji was no easy feat, and she was fully aware of that fact. Only those who knew her intimately could comprehend the complexity of her thought process. Essentially, Seo Yea Ji was a mere facade that she had crafted to indulge in her passion for acting. However, the real Yea-Ji lay concealed beneath "Fallen," her pseudonym for making a difference through her writing, in the only way she knew how – by telling the truth.
On rare occasions, Yea-Ji was able to assist Fallen in her mission, and today was one of those times. She was well aware that her latest post would ignite a fresh battle with the powerful Nang family. While Yea-Ji had never personally encountered anyone associated with the Nangs, as Fallen, she had encountered numerous individuals who had been wronged and exploited by them.
Today's post was a direct attack on the Nang family, aimed at drawing their attention. Yea-Ji knew that this would also clear her name of any wrongdoing and potentially cause some trouble for Su-Ah. However, she understood the importance of stepping back and refraining from escalating things further. Her fight was with Lee Soo Hyuk, and it appeared that it would continue.
Yea-Ji couldn't forget how hurtful it was to watch the interview, especially after Lee had convinced her to follow him and work together to clear up any misunderstandings. Despite their perfect teamwork, the outcome had been disastrous. For a while, she had tried to put Lee Soo Hyuk out of her mind, recognizing that he no longer held any significance in her life. They were unlikely to cross paths again, allowing her to focus more on her work as Fallen. It had been a while since she had pursued a story, and perhaps now was the perfect opportunity to do so.
Yea Ji lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling as she tried to quiet her racing mind. But tonight, nothing was working. Questions swirled around her head, nagging at her like a persistent itch she couldn't scratch. Most pressing was the question of Lee Soo Hyuk. Did he know about his sister's plan to be interviewed by Nang Unji, or was it something that had happened without his knowledge? The truth was anything was possible, and Yea Ji couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the story than she had been told.
She told herself not to care, reminding herself that she had no reason to worry about Lee if he was indeed behind it all. But deep down, she knew she couldn't let it go. Eventually, she gave up on trying to sleep and got up from bed. She paced back and forth in her bedroom, her steps echoing off the hardwood floors. She sighed, knowing that once she started down the path of questioning, she wouldn't be able to stop until she found the answers. Even though the question was personal, she felt compelled to know the truth about whether Lee Soo Hyuk had toyed with her or not. Despite her own advice to let it go, Yea Ji couldn't help feeling bothered by the uncertainty. She knew she shouldn't care, but the truth was that she did.
Yea-Ji had enough, she walked over to the nightstand and picked up her phone. She would get all her questions answered even if she had to beat the answers out of Lee. She called the team's hacker, "Pu-Ja, find me Lee Soo Hyuk's home address, that jerk knows mine, but I never found out where he lives."
Pu-Ja was a man indebted to Fallen, and he knew it. Despite the late hour, he took only a moment to respond to the request from the group. To him, a request from Fallen was not just a simple ask, but a demand that he could not refuse. They had saved his life and given him a chance to work with one of the greatest teams in the hidden communities dedicated to shielding the truth.
