Lee Soo Hyuk slowly opened his eyes, feeling disoriented and confused. He couldn't remember how he had ended up in Seo Yea Ji's parent's house, but he knew one thing for sure: he was alive. He tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through his body, reminding him of the injuries he had sustained during the battle against the Nangs.

"Take it easy, Lee Soo Hyuk," Seo Yea Ji's voice reached him from across the room. "You've been unconscious for days. Your injuries were severe, but you're going to be okay."

He turned his head to look at her, and a warm feeling spread through his chest. She was sitting on a chair next to the bed, her eyes fixed on him, her hand holding his. "What happened," he said, his voice hoarse.

Seo Yea Ji sighed, looking down at their intertwined fingers. "We took down the Nangs, Lee Soo Hyuk. It was a tough fight, but we did it." Seo watched as his facial expression changed from waking up to disbelief. She could understand how frustrating he would be, as he was not included, but thinking as Fallen she did not want him to take part in any of the start missions, he would have all the time to help them in the fight against the Nangs would continue.

Lee Soo Hyuk frowned. "And I missed it all?" he said, his voice rising in anger. "Why didn't you wake me up?"

"I couldn't, Lee Soo Hyuk," Seo Yea Ji said, her voice barely above a whisper. "You were too weak, and the doctors said it was better for you to rest. And honestly, I did not want you to get into any other dangerous situations. Last time you ended up signing a slave contract with the Nangs. Do you think I would allow you to continue that madness?"

Lee Soo Hyuk gritted his teeth, feeling frustrated and helpless. He wanted to be there, to fight alongside his friends, to make sure that justice was served. But he had missed it all, lying there in a coma. "I'm sorry," Seo Yea Ji said, her pinned against his. "I know how much it meant to you. But you're here now, and that's all that matters. You can now give your own fights, but while standing on your feet."

Lee Soo Hyuk took a deep breath, feeling the anger slowly dissipating. He knew that Seo Yea Ji had only acted in his best interest and that he couldn't blame her for his injuries. "What happened to the Nangs?" he asked, trying to change the subject.

"We managed to gather enough evidence to incriminate them," Seo Yea Ji said, a triumphant smile spreading across her face. "Fallen team and the rest were instrumental in helping us. They knew the ins and outs of the Nangs' operation, and he provided us with the information we needed to take them down."

Lee Soo Hyuk nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. The Nangs had been a thorn in their side for too long, and he was glad to hear that justice had been served. "And what about my sister's contract?" he asked, remembering the reason why he had taken up arms against the Nangs in the first place.

"My mother canceled it, and yours as well," Seo Yea Ji said, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I realized that she had made a mistake, and I wanted to make things right. I should never leave you alone, you end up in trouble."

Lee Soo Hyuk couldn't believe his ears. He had never thought that Seo Ji's mother helped them. But as Seo explained to him, it was not only her mother but the rest of her family as well. And to his surprise, even his sister had a change of heart, and he knew that it wouldn't have been possible without Seo Yea Ji's influence.

"Thank you," he said, his voice deep, but low.

Seo Yea Ji leaned in and kissed him gently on the lips, and stepped back watching him freeze at her action. He looked at her for a few long moments while tilting his head he asked her "What was that?"

Seo Yea Ji cracked a smile and answer "A kiss!"

"You call that a kiss?" Lee quizzed irony drawn on his face.
