aki joins the team

over the next few days yuno, usopp, and ned decided to capture the so-called "easy" targets just to get a lot of progress done...

on the first day, they decided to get deku because it would be pretty simple based on ned's analyses of how he behaved. (ned decided that he would spend time researching all of the 'victims' to figure out how to catch them better). In catching deku, all they had to do was lure him into a trap... basically they went into UA posing as hero scouters who were there to observe the students and spent the entire day watching them go to class, fight each other, and so on.

ned knew that deku was a huge fan of all might so he just went and looked at his all might merch collection, grabbed a random rare one off ebay that deku didn't have already, and decided to make a trap out of that. he got, essentially, a fucking huge feral cat cage and left the all might figure in it near deku's dorm.

"why the hell would anyone go into a fucking FERAL CAT TRAP?" yuno shouted. she was mad that ned had spent almost $500 USD on this damn set up because she thought it was too stupid to even remotely work.

"shut the hell up and watch my prowess you damn harlot," ned snarled back. they had a good enough friendship that they could be evil to each other without worrying about the repercussions.

"OH NOES.... Whom left this incredible amazing rare all might merch in a big cage......... i must save you," deku said. he started crawling into the cage without another thought and instantly was captured.

"see," ned said with a smirk. yuno was flabbergasted because that was probably one of the stupidest things she'd seen in months. she was not going to question it anymore though because dammit if it worked, it worked... who was she to judge it.
with shinji, it was ... almost boringly easy. they went to his house and banged on the door... upon opening it, they explained the concept of their game to see what his opinion of it would be.

"so basically we'll be putting you in a nice mansion with all kinds of things that you'd want and–"

"okay. when can we go?" shinji asked.

"...are you not even concerned about anything? you responded particularly quickly," yuno asked. she was, again, flabbergasted.

"i would rather be in a mansion than sit in this damn house or have to pilot some stupid robot. if i could be depressed in a fancy place rather than in a crummy little apartment, i'll take it," shinji said. he put up no fight and calmly followed ned and yuno back to usopp's stupid honda civic.

in the car, yuno looked at the list of people to catch. she turned to ned and hummed in thought. "okay, who would be easier, togami or murr from impractical jokers?"

"probably murr... we just have to convince the other jokers to make it his punishment for failing a challenge, i guess," ned said.

usopp gasped... "no way.. you guys watch impractical jokers too? id love to meet murr, he's so fucking funny," he said.

"No i dont know what it is, ned just suggested him to me and said murr would be a powerful force in this thing... wait a minute, if he's so powerful why the hell is he going to be fighting these guys instead of being a staff member?" yuno thought out loud again.

"i dont know, he can do whatever he wants cause he's fucking murr," usopp replied. he turned into the neighborhood (yes it's a big neighborhood of big mcmansions) and pulled into their driveway. usopp idled in the driveway and just had shinji get out since they were going to get some chipotle as a reward for their hard work ...

after a few days of relaxation after two consecutive captures, they managed to track where the impractical jokers would be showing up to film their next season. (a/n: joe can still be a part of it idc) yuno decided that her Feminine Charm :™: approach wasn't going to work this time and let usopp and ned figure out how to get murr.
