as the boys were still on the way to the girls house, nick gasped in the back causing chris to jerk his head worried. "what happened?!?"
"look bro." nick said handing his phone to chris but away from matt so he couldn't see. "is that him?" chris said confused because he knew for a fact lilith liked matt. "what the fuck is it!" matt yelled almost wrecking the van.
nick took his phone away from chris and instead showed it to matt who's demeanor changed. "oh."
"do you still wanna go?" chris asked knowing matt was probably upset by what he saw.
"yeah we're almost there so why not." he said driving into a neighborhood they had been in just two weeks ago.
"hey it could be a friend." chris said putting his hand on matt's shoulder trying to comfort him. "even if it's not i'm fine i swear." he said calmly but the two other boys didn't buy it.
"well we're here." nick said trying to diffuse the tension as they got up and walked to the front door.
meanwhile inside the house the three girls were dancing and singing with levi miller, halley's older brother who had came to visit.
"i swear that food you cooked us was so good lev." lilith said falling down on the couch from tiredness. "for real." athena said laughing.
levi chuckled as he sat down too, "i'm glad you think so i guess culinary school paid off in some way." he said making halley laugh.
"i remember when you finished school you were so excited to open your own restaurant but then you decided to start making music." halley spoke getting up and going towards the kitchen.
"at least his music is good and he gets paid good!" lilith yelled laughing making levi smile at her.
nobody knew this except halley but levi used to have the biggest crush on lilith when they were in highschool. halley assumed he had gotten over this childhood crush, but instead he still liked her. no one could ever know though because he knew lilith didn't feel the same. so, instead of trying to get over what he felt for the girl he never dated anyone, hoping that maybe one day lilith would feel the same.
"levi don't you wanna wash the dishes?" halley pleaded making levi give in.
as levi started to clean the kitchen, all three of the girls put on a movie waiting for him to be finished, but they were interrupted by a knock on the door.
"who's that?" halley questioned to athena and lilith but they both shrugged.
before halley could get up and open the door, levi beat her to it and opened the door revealing a smiling nick, chris, and matt.
