It was a few days after the accident. Charlie had Alyssa stay home the day after the accident to relax and recover and since she wasn't at school, neither was Merlin. Alyssa stood with Angela and Jessica as she waited for her mate and his siblings to arrive. The girls were talking about random things when Alyssa noticed that her sister was standing in the exact spot of the accident trying to figure out how Merlin and Edward had gotten to their mates so fast.
Bella was already in trouble since after examining the CVT cameras in the parking lot, Charlie saw Bella tampering with Tyler's breaks. She was given community service and had to pay for the damage done to Tyler's van and Angela's car. It wasn't long till the Cullens arrived and Alyssa pulled Angela away to talk to them. When Merlin saw his mate and Angela approaching them he nudged Edward and nodded toward their mates. Edward couldn't help but smile as the girls got closer, not noticing that Bella was watching them. As the girls reached the Cullens, Merlin pulled Alyssa into his arms where he kissed her.
"Hello love," Merlin said as they separated.
"Hey handsome," Alyssa said as she smiled at her mate.
Edward put his arm around Angela's shoulder as he smiled at his brother and his mate. Across the parking lot, Bella continued to glare at her sister in jealousy. She knew that Alyssa knew about the Cullens and was furious that she wouldn't tell her. Sensing that someone was glaring at her, Alyssa looked around until she saw her twin watching them.
"I swear I'm ready to murder my twin," Alyssa said as she glared at her sister who was watching them while Mike Newton talked to her.
"What is her problem? She's been staring at your family nonstop and she's now even asking me if I know what you're family is hiding," Angela said as she looked up at Edward.
"Just ignore her Angel, she's just jealous that I'm getting to know you. I like talking to you and getting to know you better, Angela," Edward said as he looked down at his mate.
Angela blushed when she caught the nickname that Edward had called her. Alyssa smiled at her friend and the guy she thought of as an annoying brother. Mr. Molina was now calling for everyone to get on the buses to go to the greenhouse. Merlin pulled his mate along with him as they got onto the bus.
