"Man, don't tell me" I groaned. The ugly smell crept at my nostrils. "These Lost Boy's clothes sure stink like skunks farting out their gas."

"I know, but we can't do anything about it can we?" Amanda said typically.

I hate to admit it, but I did promise to volunteer. I started to wonder if Peter pan had a laundry washer machine, but sadly it doesn't exist in Neverland. We used soap and the sink's water to hand wash all of the dirty clothes until our hands got sore and blisters appeared at the palms of our hands.

"Hey girls!" shouted Peter. He jumped down into my room. "Just letting you guys know that the Lost boys and I are going fishing at Mermaid Lagoon. One of you can come with me if you want."

"I'll go with you Peter, and Lily will stay here" Amanda replied.

"Okay Amanda, let's go. See ya Lily!" Peter shouted.

I gaped at Amanda. How could she? Amanda whispered in my ear, "Don't worry, I'll help with the other chores later. I really want to hang out with Peter pan for a while okay?"

So you can make him fall in love with you, I thought, summing everything up from then and now, by my friend's reactions. Don't you ever thought that I care about you more than him? Don't you remember that were close friends? I didn't say anything, but slowly nodded my head. But inside, I was burning with anger.

"Thanks, your a good friend" Amanda said happily and left with Peter without saying goodbye. They started to climb out of the tree trunk.

"Anything for a friend" I mumbled.

I went back scrubbing the clothes, feeling like Cinderella, and tried to ignore the pain in my chest as I worked. After ten minutes of washing all of the clothes, I placed them on a table to dry. If Amanda decided to fish with Peter pan, then what should I do? Hmm........  Let's pay a little visit in..... Pixie hollow.

"I wish I had a map" I said out loud.

I kicked a small pebble and sat down to think. My head flashed back to a dream when I was young, picturing a island with drawn marks scattered everywhere with "x's" and arrows pointing in different directions. Follow the Peter star for  Peter pan's hideout.  A voice said, echoing my head. The hawk star is on the right and  Kyto's star is on the left, which leads to Torth Mountain, where the dragon lives..... Mermaid Lagoon is close to Pixie hollow about  five miles away.... Pixie hollow is the heart of Neverland. My eyes flitted open. That's it! Pixie hollow must be close to Mermaid Lagoon! Which is also close to Beach Cove. I ran out of the jungle and left footprints on the sand of Beach Cove as I go. I tip-toed past Mermaid Lagoon, not wanting Amanda, Peter pan, and the Lost Boys noticing me. As soon as I got farther away, a huge tall maple tree stood in a clearing. Tiny window and doorways were glowing bright with Never fairies darting, busy with their work. One fairy spotted me. She had brown amber eyes, tan skin, wavy hair, wearing a peachy dress, and is like the only fairy that glows the brightest of all the others. A light-talent fairy. I blinked, and thought, how did I know that? My head memorized the fairy manners when I was trying to learn in a dream long ago.

"F-Fly with you?" I said, questioning and stuttering at the same time.

The fairy smiled.

"Fly with you, I'm Fira. I'm surprise that you know the fairy manners. Not all Clumsies know everything about Never fairies except for Peter pan" Fira replied.

"Well, I don't know everything. Just most of them. By the way, I'm Lily, or you can call me Lilianna by my real name. Are you a light-talent fairy?" I asked.

"Yes, how do you know? " Fira asked back.

I shrugged. "I don't know, just a feeling I guess."

"They're right about you, you are 'special'" Fira said amazed, as if I looked like a god or queen.

"Um, sorry but—" I stopped myself abruptly, starting my question all over to be more clear. "I mean, I'd fly backwards if I could, but what do you mean when you said  I'm 'special'?"

The fairy shook her head. "Can't talk now, go to Mother Dove, she probably knows the answer." And with that, she flew away off to work.

Gosh, busy fairies these days.
