"What?" I exclaimed, my eyes widened with shock. I just couldn't believe what I heard, or maybe my ears weren't working.

"Yes, you are the only last young descendant of the Darling family" Mother Dove said slowly. "I see that this is new to you but I'm pretty sure you'll get the hang of it. Even if it's difficult."

I closed my eyes, thinking. Then I asked slowly, "So if I'm the last descendant of the Darling family, does that mean I'm adopted for this whole time?" I knew what I said sounded sharp but I needed to know. A lump grew in my throat.

"No, you were never adopted my dear," Mother Dove responded gently. "Your father is also part of the Darling family too. Like I said, you are the last young offspring of the Darling family. Your father just changed his last name into your mother's last name. That's probably why you're confused. Now, let's not get too depressed. "Fly with you Tink!" Terence called out. His wings fluttered eagerly. 'Um, are you looking for someone?"

Tink looked at Terence, then turned her head towards my direction. She seemed like she wasn't expecting me to be here, at this moment.

"Yes. I was actually looking for this Clumsy, but I also needed to talk with Mother Dove for a minute" Tink said. "But I guess you found her already."

"I'd fly backwards if I could, but can you tell me how you and Prilla got into this situation of bringing me here?" I asked, half upset and fascinated how different I was.

Terence glanced nervously at Tinkerbell and me, then said, "I think I better go. The dust-talent fairies probably need my help" and flew off, leaving me and Tink alone.

Tinkerbell looked at me, drew a breath and explained the whole story. I was half shocked, and was laughing at the same time, wondering to myself, so they were into me this whole time?

"Aren't you mad at me?" Tink asked, a little confused.

"What? No!" I exclaimed and
