《 Seventy - Two 》

The next morning, Yifan awoke early. He left his lover's arms after placing a kiss on his lips. The tiger stood at the side of his bed while gazing at the smaller man who slept peacefully. His large hand ran through Lorenzo's soft hair but the other didn't stir. The younger man's heart was full of happiness, seeing the elder safe and sound next to him.

"Ni shi wo yisheng dou zai dengdai di na geren." | "You are the one I've been waiting for my whole life. " | The taller man whispered while gazing at the gorgeous man in his bed.

Yifan placed another kiss on Lorenzo's forehead and went to the bathroom. Yifan took a quick shower and got ready for work. He dressed in an expensive black suit and did his hair before walking out of the room. Yifan didn't want to wake his lover up while he was sleeping so peacefully. He went down the hall to his son's room. The tiger entered to see Haoran fast asleep with Bella curled up next to him. The rottie had its arm around the child as if trying to protect him. She opened her eyes and when Bella saw Yifan, she began to wag her tail. The female dog got up carefully and came up to Yifan. The man greeted her with pats on the head and she left the room after getting some love from her owner. Yifan walked over to the bed Haoran was sleeping on. He brushed his son's soft hair and the little boy stirred in his sleep.

"D-Daddy." The boy awoke slowly. When his eyes met with his father, he became filled with joy. Haoran sat up and waddled over to the tiger. "Good morning, Daddy."

Yifan picked his son up in his arms and placed a kiss on his forehead. "Morning, Haohao. Did you sleep well?"

"Yes! I slept with Bella." The child said with a smile.

"Wanna come to work with me?" Yifan asked and Haoran nodded.

"I'm going with Daddy!" The boy said excitedly.

Yifan smiled and took his son to the bathroom. The tiger bathed his son and brushed his teeth. After dressing Haoran in black pants and a white sweater, he carried him out of the room. Yifan smiled as he saw Lorenzo walking out of their bedroom. His lover was awake and dressed in black trousers and one of Yifan's t-shirts, tucked into his pants neatly. Lorenzo walked over to them and placed a kiss on Yifan's cheek, doing the same to Haoran.

"Good morning, Papa. I'm going to work with Daddy, today." The child said excitedly and Lorenzo smiled.

"Alright, both of you work hard." The smaller man teased as they went downstairs.

They went downstairs to the dining room to see Jia waiting for them along with the kids. Zhen held Haoran from Yifan with a bright smile. The siblings had fallen in love with their nephew the moment they had first seen him. "Good morning, Aunt Maelin and Uncle Zhen."

The little boy said politely and Maelin cooed at him. "Good morning, Haohao. You look so handsome."

"Thank you." Everyone smiled as they saw Haoran give the teenage girl a toothy grin.

"Let's eat." Grandma Jia said and everyone began to serve themselves with the dishes set on the table. The family ate breakfast happily and Grandma Jia fed Haoran herself, cooing at him. Watching his son and Grandma Jia interact, made Lorenzo feel warm in his heart. He watched the family silently and felt Yifan's gaze on him. When their gazes met, the taller man winked and Lorenzo blushed.

Yifan decided to drop the kids off at school on his way to work. They all said goodbye to Lorenzo and Jia before leaving. Lorenzo helped Grandma Jia clean up the table and the maids took care of the rest. The two went to sit in the living room, intending to catch up on how three months had gone for them. Grandma Jia sat down and set a hand on Lorenzo's arm.

"How have you been, sweetie? We missed you so much." The old woman said and the man hugged her.

Jia wrapped her warm arms around Lorenzo who felt sobs bubble up in his throat again. "I don't know how I survived, Grandma Jia. I chanted Yifan's name and secretly kept waiting for him. I couldn't look at anyone else except him."
