The next morning, it was Risa who made breakfast for everyone. When Yifan found out she had cooked, he left to work without eating. Lorenzo and Haoran left the house without eating as well. The elder was meeting up with Rosy and Jade for breakfast. He drove to their favorite cafe and parked his vehicle to see his two best friends waiting for him. Haoran ran to Rosy who picked him up with a bright smile.
"Haohao! My little sugar pie!" The woman pressed kisses all over his face as he giggled.
Lorenzo hugged Jade who smiled at him. "Long time no see, Lorenzo."
"You both are too busy messing around with each other to even think of me." Lorenzo teased. He giggled as both women blushed at his words.
"Let's go inside." Rosy held Lorenzo's hand and they went inside the cafe.
The group sat down in the quieter side of the cafe after ordering three lattes and a few plates of cake. Lorenzo had ordered a separate kids drink and a croissant for Haoran who sat in Jade's lap happily. Rosy sat next to Lorenzo and waggled her eyebrows at him teasingly.
"I heard you reunited with your hubby." Lorenzo rolled his eyes and pulled at her ear gently.
"You both hid so much from me. I'm so hurt." Lorenzo crossed his arms and pretended to be mad.
Rosy hugged Lorenzo tight and Jade smiled at him before mouthing the word "sorry". The shorter woman pressed a kiss to Lorenzo's hair before muttering a line of apologies. "We're really sorry. We promised Grandma Jia to not say a word until Yifan could see you again. Please forgive us."
"Little devils." Lorenzo said with a smile. "It's okay, I forgive you both. We're even now."
"So, how's everything with Yifan now?" Rosy asked teasingly and Lorenzo felt his face heat up.
"Papa looks like a tomato." Haoran said as Jade fed him pieces of the croissant. The two women laughed as Lorenzo blushed.
"We're doing great but Risa came back." Lorenzo said and Rosy's mouth fell.
"Sweetheart, can you cover little Haoran's ears for a second?" The taller woman did as Rosy told her and placed her hands over the child's ears.
"That bitch is still after your man?!" Rosy asked loudly and Lorenzo gasped.
"Hey, quiet down." Lorenzo said and Rosy rolled her eyes.
"Are you kidding me?" The red-haired woman asked while huffing in and out. "I'm about to drag that hoe for you, Lorenzo. Just give me the word and I'll lay her flat on the floor."
"Crazy woman." The man hit her arm gently. "You're not fighting anyone, shorty."
"Bitches be desperate. I hope you teach her a good lesson this time." The short woman said and looked at Jade. "You can uncover his ears now."
"Papa, why didn't Haoran hear anything?" The child asked and Lorenzo smiled at him.
"Auntie Rosy had to tell me a secret, that's why." The man said and felt Rosy pinch his arm lightly.
Jade handed Haoran over to Rosy who hugged the boy close. Lorenzo loved how much his best friends adored his son. He chatted with both of them and asked about the shop. Jade answered his questions as the shorter woman cooed at Haoran. "How's the shop going?"
"We're expanding it in two weeks. Your kind husband helped us find a location that's a few minutes away from his company. That way, we both can come and see you more often. We miss you a lot, Lorenzo." The brown-haired woman said while reaching over and patting Lorenzo's arm.
"Lorenzo, we need to plan a trip." Rosy proposed and the man's ears perked up in interest.
"A trip?" He asked.
