"Come again?" Yifan's eyes widened at that request.

"I want to work with you at your company. I wanna try out a new job and I'm going to feel safe working under you." Lorenzo answered. "I'll get to see you more, too."

The younger man saw how serious his lover was and a smile formed on his lips. "I'll have paperwork made up for you then, no interview needed."

"I have a condition though." Lorenzo placed a hand on Yifan's jaw and made him look down. "Will you agree to it?"

"What is it?" The younger man had a feeling he wasn't going to like whatever the smaller man was about to say next.

"Aside from not doing an interview, I don't want any special treatment from you once I start working there. I'm going to start from the lowest department full of assistants. I want to earn my status there through my hard work and skills, not because my husband is the CEO there. It would be unfair to all of your employees." Lorenzo saw a pout form on Yifan's lips and he giggled.

"Anything else?" The tiger asked.

"At your workplace, we won't be partners. I will be your assistant and you will be my boss." Lorenzo said and the tiger stood up.

"No." Yifan shook his head and Lorenzo held his hand.

He pulled his husband down to sit and watched him sulk. "Baby, most of the people who work there already know that I'm yours. We just need to keep it low."

"Why?" Yifan asked and the older man pecked his cheek to cheer him up.

"Because I know we will get distracted by each other and that's gonna affect our work performance," Lorenzo said but Yifan shook his head again.

"Let's compromise." Lorenzo became confused hearing that.

"How?" He asked and Yifan looked at him pleadingly.

"During lunch, you're all mine. I don't care what you're doing. I don't care who you're with unless it's Kevin or Nico, I want you in my office the moment lunch starts. Same rule after work hours." The tiger offered and Lorenzo nodded.

"I can go with that, but no funny business." Lorenzo said and Yifan nodded.

"Baby, let's continue our conversation on the roof, the view is great there." Yifan pulled his lover up from his seat and they left the room.

The couple went inside an elevator and reached the top floor of the large restaurant. A few couples were there but all of them were lost in love, talking and laughing. Yifan leaned against the thick glass railing and hugged Lorenzo. The couple snuggled closer to each other while watching the stars in the sky. Lorenzo giggled as Yifan pressed soft kisses on his ear, tickling him. Their warm hands were intertwined together as they began to talk.

"Do you want to do full-time or part-time?" Yifan asked and Lorenzo felt another kiss on his neck.

"I will do part-time. I want to take care of Haoran and our family on my off days. I don't want anyone to feel lonely." Yifan liked that answer from his lover.

"How about three days a week? You can do Monday, Wednesday, and Friday."

"That sounds nice." Lorenzo felt excited to try out a new job. He had asked Grandma Jia before announcing the news to Yifan. The old woman was supportive of his decision but told Lorenzo to make sure they wouldn't be distracted.

"When do you wanna start?"

"In one week, I want to go shopping for clothes first. I don't have a lot of business type of clothing." Lorenzo said and Yifan chuckled.
