Chapter 14

Jin looked at the photo through Namjoon's phone questioning him, "When did you take this?"

"Jinnie you can clearly see that I took it when you were sound asleep."

Jin sighed, "Okay.. well we should start looking at these final products. You sure love to distract me."

"I'm glad you noticed." Namjoon smirked bending down to bring his eyes on the fragment. It looked better than on the Internet and it was professional made.

Jin was even satisfied at the beautiful bottle. "This is amazing Namjoon. What do you think?"

"I'd say the same, it's very well detained too." He responded picking up a scented sample.

Hovering the paper over his nose, he sniffed the rich pungent. "It smells great too."

"Yeah it does." Jin agreed with a smile on his face.

"Which one will smell better, the men's or women's?"

"I personally think men's would... it seems a little bias but maybe Chae and Sumi will think otherwise." Jin admitted with a short laugh.

They were in a small building where all the fragments were made and tested. All labeled and set in a small glass container so nobody could touch them. The room and light gray walls are hazard warnings of some sort.

As they continued to examine the set they pointed at the original perfumes/colognes too.
It was very experimental for both of them, the company itself made a lot of progress.

"It's amazing the amount of progress that we've made here." Namjoon exclaimed with a smile, his hands sat in his pockets.

"Really.. how many have we released?" Jin asked looking at him.

"I'd say about 68 so far."

Jin's eyes widened in shock, he didn't realize they made that many. "Wow.. that's amazing.."

Namjoon nodded his head and hummed. Jin warmly smiled getting one more good look at the room.

Namjoon glared at him bringing up another topic. "How can you keep a fond smile on your face knowing you're struggling..?"

Jin turned his head, he wasn't offended by his question but he sounded profoundly wholehearted. In a small voice he answered, "Well.. sometimes you have to conceal it— I didn't want to worry or stress myself. Especially worry you, because you.. you-." Jin tilted his head, his lips pursed. He couldn't find the right word to use. "You're altruistic and you care.."

Namjoon slowly smiled letting out a small and soft chuckle, "Really.. thanks for making my heart flutter."

"You're welcome." Jin nodded, "thank you for being helpful."

The two exited the room using a sanitary wipe to clean their hands. Their whole atmosphere changed after they left the room, they felt a bit more comfortable then they had used to.

Namjoon took his phone out from his pocket and checked the time. "It's 11:51 a.m."

"Okay, do you have anything planned?" Jin asked.

"No.. I'm going to go back to the office- call me if you need anything."

"Oh alright, I'll check on the others."
