6years later.

“mommy! mommy!” Amy calls rushing downstairs.

“what is it baby.” I say looking up. “are you still in pajamas? You're going to be late for school. ”

“I can't find my crayons. ” she frowns.

“okay baby. Just a sec. ” I tell her while closing her lunchbox. “let's go. ”

I finally manage to get her in her school uniforms and everything she needs in school is already in her backpack.

“is daddy taking me to school? ” she asks while I brush her hair.

“yes he will, now let's get you breakfast before he is done okay. ” I say and she nods.
Everything has been okay since Bred and a few of his men were arrested. There has been no drama lately and my baby girl has grown so big.

My husband, Diego, I know what you're thinking. We got married five years ago after I had Amy and he has been everything I needed so I fell in love with him and he proposed. The marriage made the two territories to become allies and our territory is strong again.

Am glad I managed to bring my territory back on its feet after being the reason for its downfall.

Diego walks down the stairs in his three piece suit. He owned a club that they use clean the money from drugs sales. I have really gotten to know him for the past five years and he is just great.

“hello family. ” he says walking to the table.

“hi daddy. ” Amy says smiling widely.

“hi baby girl.” he says leaning in to kiss her hair. “ready ? ”

She nods, “okay run along. Get your backpack. ” he tells her and she runs upstairs.

“good morning baby. ” he tells me planting a swift kiss on my lips.

“Morning. ” I say putting a piece of a pancake in my mouth.

“you going to the boutique today? ” he asks sitting down. I own a boutique that keeps me busy but I have employees so I sometimes stay at home and help the nanny clean and do the chores.

“yeah, but a little later just to check on things but am sure the crew have things together. ” I answer.

“you remember the ball right? ”

“what? ”

“the ball happening at Glen's house? Please don't tell me you forgot. ”

Shit I totally forgot.

“no of course not. ” I lie “how could I forget. ” I pretend. I have been a lot busy lately with Amy and the boutique and obviously Diego.

“ that is good. ” he smiles. “I'll see you later. I love you. ” he says standing and kissing my forehead when Amy finally comes.

“bye mommy. ” she waves holding Diego's hand and following him.

“Bye baby. Be a good girl in school okay. ”

“okay.” she chirps and they disappear.
My phone rings on the table and I glance at it. My lips tug up in a smile when I see Paulina's name flashing up.

Am so mad at you.
Paulina.

What? why? what did I do?
Me.

Why haven't you called me.
Paulina.

Paulina we talked yesterday.
Me.

Yeah we haven't talked today. Well, how is my goddaughter.
Paulina.

She is perfect, she just left for school.
Me

Okay. I have to go , I'll see you later at the ball.
Paulina.

You're coming?
Me.

Of course. It'll be a chance to see you guys and my brothers. I miss you guys like crazy.
Paulina .

And she hangs up.

She has been with me the whole time but she left to run their dad's company in London since she is best at that and her brothers entrusted her the company.
I walk up to our room and I make the bed before walking into the bathroom.

I need to get to the boutique it has been  days since I checked how it's going.

Ella has been kipping her distance since Bred tried to kill me and she has never tried to contact me or Jim.

Speaking of Jim he is now okay and has been busy with the mafia shit helping Barry with the gun shipments and drug dealing. I have already accepted the fact that my family has been doing this since before I was born. I told them I will not interfere in their business as long as their shit don't affect my daughter's future.

Barry came out of the closet and is now dating Sean and they look so happy together. Barry opened a gym that Sean helps run while training people and everything is okay.

I walk downstairs after getting ready am in a blue trouser suit and a trenchcoat because of the weather.

“Robin.” nanny calls and I turn on my heels.
“yeah what's up, Remmy.”

“I need a few days off, my mom is sick I need to go check on her. ” she says. I treat her like a sister since she is so nice to my baby girl.

“it's okay, I'll have Amy brought to my boutique. ” I tell her.

She smiles and turns.“thanks.”

“and Remmy. There is some cash at the dining table. Take it.” she nods. “call me in case of anything. ”

“sure.”

I walk out and I get in the car. Diego insisted on me having a driver and I flatly refused. I don't like people doing things for me.

The boutique is a few blocks down and I arrive in no time.

I walk in and the manager smiles at me. “welcome Mrs morrone.”

“Thank you, please fill me in on everything I missed. ” I say walking with him to my office.

It is already 2pm and Amy is almost done with school for the day, Diego will be picking her up before going back to his business.I walk down the ailes checking what needs restocking. I love being here. The fashionable clothes shoes bags purses make up and everything is making me smile as I run my fingers through them.

My phone rings and pick it.

What's up.
Me.

Did you send someone to pick up Amy?
Diego.

No. What's going on.
Me.

Am beginning to panic.

Ma'am you need to be a little specific on who picked her up....She is saying a guy with tattoos all over his body. Ring a bell.
Diego.

No it can't be him. He is not done with his jail term.
Me.

I know but the description fits him. I'll find out and I'll bring Amy back home okay.
Diego.

But, how can someone escape from a maximum security prison?! Please don't let me lose my baby girl.
Me.

I got this.
Diego.

And he hungs up.
I am feeling like my heart is going to burst out of my chest. He can't take her away from me.
