"Today's the day! Can't wait!"
"What day it is suppose to be today?"
"What do you mean? Today we were suppose to..."
"What?"
"Go out..."
"Today is grocery day? Are you sure? Our fridge is still filled up though."
"No, it's not grocery day."
"Oh, now I know what it is."
"And...?"
"It's our Lazy Day today. Felt like we had it few days ago though to be honest. Times getting by really fast."
"No it's not our Lazy Day and no, time is not going by fast."
"Okay then, so what day is it now? Oh wait, I got it's visiting back home, right?"
"Seriously, you forgot about it again? Actually, you know what is really getting by faster these days? It's your memory span, you keep forgetting everything that we plan."
"Ah... look I'm.."
"Keep it and save it. You know what? This day is not even important anymore. Just do whatever you want to do and I'll do whatever I want to do. It doesn't matter anymore."
------
C/C walks away in disappointment
------
"(checks the calendar while trying to remember what has been forgotten) Thoughts running in the mind: 'Oh shoot, it's Beach Day today. C/C really wanted to go there since its been a tiring month for both of us and C/C thought that we should have a day out to relax together and quality time is C/C's important value and I totally agreed to this outing too. Now, I messed it up bad time. I gotta make it up to C/C.'"
------
C/C's F decided to ask for an apology to C/C and have Beach Day as planned by both of them. C/C's F knocks on C/C's room door and opened the door, looking at C/C being on bed still being sad and disappointed with little visible tears rolling down from the eyes which makes C/C's F feel very guilty.
------
"Could I have a word with you C/C? It's not right if we don't settle it but I would give you some time if you don't want to have a conversation now. I totally get it."
"What is it? What do you want to say now? You're probably going to ask me for an apology right?"
"Well, I would definitely ask you for an apology because I realized my mistake towards you, but before asking an apology, I just wanted to let you know my side of story of why I forgotten about it, though its my mistake completely, but its just fair that way, right? Just like how we always confront and be forward about our misunderstandings before it grows too big and out of control."
"Well, what is your side of reasoning?"
"I actually thought today was the day of going back to our home and visiting our parents. I remembered that we were also planning about it because we haven't seen nor kept in touch in a while and then we were going back and forth of our beach day and visiting plan in the same conversation. So, I mixed it up in my head, got it all wrong and.... now we are here. That's what I wanted to say earlier but you told me to 'keep it and save it.'"
"Ohh... I totally forgot on visiting back home. I was just thinking about the hectic month that we had and just thought that we really needed a time out for the month and remembering that you agreed on it, so my assumption of you remembering it made me disappointed earlier thinking that you don't find it as important to remember it. That's what got into my head."
"Looks like we had a little misunderstanding here..."
"Yes..."
"Now, I'm going to ask for an apology on my side of mistake. I should have made sure that we were on the same page of conversation instead of agreeing to all at once not knowing the real plan itself. I'm sorry. Hope I'm forgiven."
"I too would like to ask for an apology for not making myself clear on what I was really trying to say to you and went all over the place. I should have talked about it topic by topic, one by one, that way would have been better. I'm sorry too. Hope I'm forgiven as well. Your apology is accepted."
"Apology accepted too. So, do you still want have our Beach Day? It's not too late yet."
"Yeah, let's just do it."
"Lets go."
