------ 4 friends got together around a campfire------
"Guys, have you noticed how short the days have been lately? It's like the sun sets before I even finish my lunch!"
"Seriously! I feel like I'm living in perpetual darkness. It's like the universe hit the fast-forward button on daylight."
"The nights... they just seem to stretch on forever. I can't remember the last time I saw the stars without feeling like I should be in bed already."
"I know what you mean. It's like time is playing tricks on us. I wake up, it's dark. I finish work, it's dark. Are we sure we're not living in some kind of twilight zone?"
"I even tried setting my clocks back to see if I could trick myself into believing it's not as late as it feels. Spoiler alert: it didn't work."
"I miss eating my lunch and my other daytime meals when the sun is up and bright. Remember those long summer days we used to spend outside? Now it feels like we're hibernating like eskimos until spring."
"I have to admit, though I don't know when to go bed sometimes, there's something strangely beautiful about these long nights. It's like the world slows down and we're bright awake to appreciate the quiet moments."
"True, true. Maybe, we just need to embrace the darkness and make the most of it. Who's up for a midnight adventure among the stars?"
"I'm up! As long as we promise not to get lost in the night."
"Agreed. Let's make some memories in these short days and long nights. After all, they won't last forever... right?"
"Count me in! Sleeping isn't my thing anyway, so, nothing to lose.(laughs)"
"Well, since everyone is in it, lets just camp out right here for a bit and then, we could walk to a better view of the skies. Just maybe, we might get a glimpse of a shooting star since the nights are longer."
