So 3 years it's a hella long time huh. I mean 3 years ago I would've been just coming back to school after COVID. But that's when I wrote the original version of boy meets girl. I'll be the first to hold my hands up and say it wasn't exactly perfect. In fact scratch that it was far from perfect. But 3 years is a long time. So I decided to revisit it with well fresh eyes and rewrite it.
Revisiting it with fresh eyes made me realise just how messy the original was. So what was gonna be a small scale rewrite became so much more the plot got tore apart and rebuilt from the ground up and I then aged up most of the content. So while the original was geared towards a teen audience this is geared towards a adult audience. So it's a lot like a movie reboot but done right.
So sitting in front of you is a new and improved version
So uh we're gonna need a content warning as well. These things might as well come standard at this point. This rewritten version is much more geared towards a adult audience. So expect more adult content including strong language, adult themes, some strong violence, sex references and well sex.
Ah the joys of writing more adult stuff.
