A/N: Sorry it's been so long    TwT   here's part 2!!!

It's the last period of the day, T.I.E. Which is basically a study hall but they assign us extra work. "Hello? Pardon me?" A small, soft voice with a German accent says. I panic. Who said that? Where did it come from? Adrenaline rushes through my body coursing through my veins. I can feel every heartbeat pumping through my body as panic rushes a wave over me. I frantically look around. Who said that? Wait- stop. People are going to see you and send you back to grippy sock jail. (The Mental Hospital) Just stop and take a few deep breaths, grab a random piece of paper in front of you, and write your name and questions. Grabbing a loose leaf of paper, I also grabbed a pencil and started scribbling on it, "Hey, I'm Alice, who are you?" I feel another blackout coming. It doesn't fully come but my hand starts scribbling something else, it seems like in response to my question. The handwriting is different, slightly smaller, and a bit neater than mine. The handwriting makes the y's curvy, but I never did that to mine. "Sorry, I'm a part of your system, my name's Jade! Sorry to interrupt, but you seemed confused on this subject and I was wondering if I could front? Just to help, I swear. Then I'll give back control." A bit confused, I said out loud, "Uhm, sure?" Should I? What if she's bad? What if she's mean to Ester? This doesn't sound like the nice guy Ester was talking to earlier- How many are there?- My thoughts get cut off by the sound of Esther's sweet as honey, yet serious voice. "Did you say something, Alice?" She asked, a hint of concern in her voice. Caught off guard, I respond, "Uhm, no? Well, I guess sorta? An alter asked me to front and I don't know how to respond." "Oh, okay!" She said, concern completely washing away. You could see the wave of worry lift away, as that some old smile that entices even the rudest of people to become sweet as cake. "Don't worry, Alice! I'm here, let them front and they can talk to me. I promise not to bite." They said jokingly. "Yeah, that's the problem. What if they're mean to you?" I don't want my best friend getting hurt by this 'alter ego' that my brain came up with. "I bet they're not. Plus, I can handle it. If worst comes to worst I'll start playing your favorite song to see if it triggers you back out. I promise I'll only try to trigger you if it gets really bad. And I assure you I'm going to be a-okay." A glimmer of palatableness hinted at their soft smile and cheeks. "Fine, but only because you're my best friend and I trust you." "Than-" "Ladies!! This is your last warning! Get back to work or you'll never be allowed to work together again!!" Ms. Dundrum's loud, obnoxious voice states. "Alright.." I say, uncertainty in my voice. Is this the best idea? Almost as if they're reading my mind, Ester says, "I can assure you it's alright. As I said, if things start to head south then I'll trigger you out, I promise I'll be fine." I close my eyelids softly, letting the darkest of the room engulf me into its abyss. 'Jade was it? You can front now, I trust you. But please let me back out sometime-'  'Will do boss. Whatever you say.'  'Thank you.'  But, this time was different... Instead of another blackout, or being in a pitch-black room, I saw something. There was a room. It looked like a living area, a living room perhaps? There was a chair, a single-person chair. But I saw a girl sitting in it. No- not a girl. She was a woman. Maybe in her twenties? She had long, beautiful hair. Her hair went to maybe mid-back. It was as dark as the midnight sky on a winter's day. It was wavy like ocean waves when the sea breeze was just right. Her hair was nothing like my hip-length, flaxen hair. Her eyes were emerald green, and they sparkled in the sun's soft kiss of delicate light. She wasn't thin, but not plus-sized, she was mid-sized. She wore a style of clothing that confused me, she wore victorian style clothing. A sleek black corset wraps around her midsection, perfect and snug. She had long, thick, dark eyelashes that were beautiful. I looked around the room, it looked so... home-y. It had a warm feeling to it, not temperature-wise, but.. aesthetically..? I saw a hallway, and being rather curious, I walked towards it. It wasn't wide whatsoever, but there were doors lining the walls. I slowly strolled down the hallway, about three doors down to the left I saw a door that made me freeze. I turn towards the door and carefully studied the sign whilst running my fingers over it. Alice written in bold letters, I let the curiosity take over me. I took a step towards the doors, carefully twisted the delicate handle, and quickly swung open the door.
