(I completely forgot that they didn't actually spend the night but let's pretend that they woke up at like 5 and got home or something 🙏😭)

"Hey Y/n"

"Hm? Oh good morning Nance." I say, my voice gravely from just waking up. Given my allergies my nose was clogged too.

"It's time to go, I already told Steve we are leaving."

"Okay."

I get up and (semi)organize the couch. We then walk to Nancy's house where we're greeted by her mom.

"Oh jeez, you scared me!"
"I scared you?"
"I know we should've called but a couple of friends wanted to get something to eat after the assembly and then we went to their house to plan a few things to help the Byers family."
"You could've called! Especially with everything going on."
"I didn't realize how late it was!"
"Nancy, it's 5 a.m.!"
"I know I'm sorry, mom. What more do you want?"Nancy finishes storming up the stairs.
"Wait who's sweatshirt is that?"
"It's Steve's."
"So is Steve your boyfriend now?"
"No, it was just cold so I borrowed his sweatshirt. It's not a big deal."
"Nancy, you can talk to me. You can talk to me, whatever happened."
"Nothing happened."

"Sorry, Mrs. Wheeler, I'll be heading home now."
"Absolutely not, with all this stress of Will going missing you are not walking home, alone, at 5 a.m."
"But-"
"No buts, plus I already had to cover telling your mom you were staying over so that's exactly what you're doing. Now head upstairs with Nancy and get dressed or whatever you normally do to prep for school."
"Okay."

Since it's around 6 a.m and we have to be at school by 7:50 I start getting ready given that it's about a 20 minute walk from here to the school.
I start doing my hair and get dressed. (at bottom)

*major time skip*

"Nancy, why are you so quiet?"
"I just feel like people are looking at me funny..."
"You don't think he told do you..?"
Nancy shrugs, unsure.
We reach her locker and suddenly Steve appears out of nowhere, spooking us both."
"Hey!"
"Hey!" I slowly shrink behind Nancy.
"Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, totally. I just- I feel like everyone's staring at me..."
"Oh, uh, I didn't tell anyone..?"
"I know, I know. Of course not!" She lightly laughs, you can tell it's fake, "But what about Tommy and Carol..."

"You're being paranoid..."
"I'm sorry."
"No, nono. It's cute"
I roll my eyes.
"Hey, I had a good time."
"Yeah, me too." Then they kiss, it's nasty. She cheekily smiles at me then turns to her locker and grabs her stuff for our class.

When we arrive we look for Barb, she's not there. Nancy and I share a look.
*time skip*

"Hey Tommy...when you left did you see Barb?"
"Huh?"
"Barbra...she's not here today."
"I seriously have no idea who you're talking about." He says as he and Carol snort.
I give him a look of disgust.
"Come on man, don't be an ass, did you- did you see her leave last night or not." Steve pipes up.
"No, she was gone when we left."
"Probably couldn't stand all the moaning." Carol says as she starts moaning and Tommy hits the table.
"Alright cut it out- listen she's probably just skipping or something."
"Yeah."
"Yeah, probably."
*time skip again*(sorry😭😭)

Steve steals Johnathans bag. "Look he's really trembling he must have something to hide."
Steve then takes photos out of the bag and looks through them.
"I was looking for my brother"
"No, this is called stalking."
Nancy and I walk up to the group.
"This little creep was spying on us last night." I scoot a little closer because I want to see. It's a bunch of picture of Steve's house and what we were doing there, "He was probably saving these for later."
She hands us each a picture. One of me changing into a sweatshirt in Steve's room, the one I'm wearing now, and one of Nancy taking off her shirt next to Steve. I give Johnathan an uneasy look.
Steve starts talking to him but I'm too busy looking at my photos. Gotta admit I look hot, but these aren't the kind of photos of meI want floating about. Next thing I know his camera is on the ground. Everyone walks away except me. I see a photo of Barb and pick it up.
"Hey Y/n! You coming?"
Quickly I pick up the other pieces or Barbs picture and catch up with Nancy. The end of the day comes and I decide to finally go home ditching Nancy with her stupid boyfriend and his dumb friends.
I get home and watch TV till it's dark. I don't know where my mom is nor my brother so I am worried. Hopefully they'll be home soon.

here's the hair n outfit
