"We need to talk!" Slay says with a husky gruffness rudely interrupting are jovial conversation. I was about to jump on his ass until I looked over at him and saw the look on his face.
By the seriousness of the look plastered on his face I can tell that he means fucking business.
"Sure. Where?" I ask while glancing over at Sunny beside me.
"Inside. Now! You to Thorn. But not fucking you!" Slay exclaims rather aggressively while pointing his finger directly over at Curtis.
Curtis just huffs at Slay then shrugs his shoulders like he doesn't seem to give a damn. Strange, I think to myself.
We all immediately obey. Following after Slay with tentative steps toward our house.
By the way Slay is acting I'm starting to become overly worried. All day long he has been basically pleading with me and Sunny about Curtis, making me start to wonder if his attitude now has something to do with him.
Entering into the living room I take my usual seat in my favorite chair while Sunny and Thorn sit down on the couch across from me. Slay begins to pace back and forth looking very serious and way overly anxious.
"What is this about Slay?" I ask him very curious over why he's acting so damn odd and edgy.
"What I'm about to tell all of you will more than likely make you hate me and Lila from keeping this from you for so long but it needs to be said, especially now." Slay stresses.
"Alright. I don't think I could ever actually hate either of one you Slay but I'll keep an open mind." I try to assure him. He seems really panicked now. His entire body is tensed upped so damn tightly. I can literally see his muscles flexing against his black T-shirt.
"Same. I could never hate my siblings. Just spill it already Slay." Sunny pipes in.
"Slay are you okay? This can't be that serious, can it?" Thorn ask him worriedly. I guess I'm not the only one to sense Slays inner turmoil.
"Alright but before I tell either of you. I need both you Sin and Sun to promise me that you won't go all feral on me. It's a very sensitive topic and I know how hotheaded each of you can get. You're just like me in that area but this time I really need for both of you to try and stay perfectly calm." Slay asserts. Fuck now I know that this has to be bad, I scoot up further on my chair listening intently
"Promise." Sunny and I both say in unison.
"Alright. Years ago when Lila was just fifteen she went out looking for me because mom asked her too. She searched basically everywhere and couldn't find me. I had my mindlink blocked off from everyone because at that time I was with my girlfriend Monica at her cousins house while they were out of town and I didn't want to be distracted." Slay explains, I take notice of the touch of regret established all over his sudden crestfallen face.
