The moon is the sun's child,
Orbiting around Her,
The Moon glows the reflection of the sunlight,
Borrowing beauty until one day, grows into its own boldness.
Taking inspiration from its Mother,
Until it's seen as whole.
An anxious, small child.
With holes in its heart,
A cold surface from being
Pushed away so far from others.
An isolated, un-named rock, under the wing of
Gravity, so close to freedom yet
So far away.
The story of a trapped child growing older, and
Trying to gain the independence it already desired.
